 Now when I first got into these dash cam batteries, one of the major issues for me was when it's freezing cold, 0 degrees Fahrenheit or colder, my dash camera would basically just bring my car battery down to 12 volts every night and then I would get recharged each day while I drive, but that's not very good for your car battery and in the long run a standard hardwiring kit like the PowerMagic Pro could make your battery last shorter. So if you've got the money, these are awesome, but again they're $300. Now there is another model, a previous model called Cell Link Battery B which is about $100 less, around $200. I would look into that if you really want a battery but can't afford the $300 Neo or B124

 Now I'm doing this in my house with a 12-volt adapter, so I am using the cigarette port, so it's not going to be charging as quick. Now there are a few settings here, you can see override parking mode, timeout function. According to the manual, the override parking mode timeout function only applies to newer luxury vehicles, it says in particular BMW is manufactured for use in Korea with an inbuilt dash camera. So some cars, because they might have whatever electrical systems or built-in dash cameras, blah blah blah, the battery wouldn't work with them like a typical dash camera, so if you are using an aftermarket dash camera, such as one of the BlackVue cameras, you would turn that off
