 But yeah i mean it was. It was a pretty good result actually so now, we'll move on to the final test, where we will smack it against a concrete block three times, just to see how it dents and see how the material reacts to the abrasive nature, of the the concrete being smacked Against it guys, this is the hitting test, the final durability test. So all i'm going to do is hit this pan against this three times and then see if there's any denting around it or anywhere on the pan here guys [, Music ]. Let'S just see if the handle was in any way, but you can see that you can see that it's not straight in any way shape or form

 It got to about 20 to 30 eggs. Before i thought you know what. Maybe i've not been fair enough on this? Pan so i re-let it cool and i started the test again, but yet again it failed. I even tried lowering the heat down just to help the pan along, but still it failed

 So we're going to be scraping this across the pan surface 50 times scraping the fork across it and also cutting it with a knife and then doing another 50 times with this. So here goes okay, so that's the 50 and, as you can see, there's a little bit of scratching just at the top here i don't know if you can see there and there's also scratching going along the side here. Maybe if i do it at a different angle, so we'll do a fork if i've got a fork, where's the fog two thousand years later, so we'll scrape across 10 times just to see if anything happens: [ Music, ], [ Applause, ], [, Music ]. So i can't see any more: i've got a little scratch there, potentially just a little one here, but other than that

Blue Diamond Pan Review: Does It Deserve The Hype?

I finally thought I found a pan that would not warp, most of the cooking is on medium heat or less and after about five or six uses I noticed Big Blue had a slight wobble, further investigation I noticed it was not sitting flat on the cooking surface, I cook on a smooth surface stove, definitely easy cleanup, I would not recommend using cooking sprays instead buy a spray container that you can use olive oil or some other type of oil in it, cooking spray‘s will leave a residue on the pans surface and the nonstick quality will diminish over time, what led me to purchase this Blue Diamond was the warp control feature, forged base for extreme strength, well as I found out like most of the skillets I buy it will warp is well, as far as the durability is, if you do not take care of your cookware and properly protect it from the other cookware then you will end up with chips and scratches.

To be warped or not to be warped ?

 Let'S go ahead and crack it on there and let's see how this turns out: we're not gon na use a spatula at all, we're just gon na crack the egg in there and see if we can spin it around like it does in the commercial okay. So there we go, we got our egg perfectly in there. I'M not gon na worry about seasoning it. Today, let's go ahead and just leave it as is, and now we just let it cook, and we see how this turns out now right away

 Yet that is look how easy! Oh, my gosh! Can we swirl it? Yet we can't cause the top, but look at how that's coming off. That is crazy. It'S like it's rubber, almost and there's no stick whatsoever. Okay, so it's not quite browned yet, but we really need to get it

 Well, but on the bright side, you can definitely see the non-stick in the pan, because everything is just scraping off. So i guess now we're making scrambled eggs, but regardless you can really see how nothing is sticking to that pan. While we use it - and now i guess, we just scramble our eggs up and just show you how clean that pan can be so, let's go ahead and take a plate, although this wasn't originally what we wanted. Sometimes it's the best demos that show out so once you have your eggs cooked we're gon na go ahead and put our eggs on there

 Flipped, like that, should be our first priority because right now, it's not the non-stick. It'S that the egg can't move, because the top isn't cooked. So let's go ahead and see if we can give this a quick flip and even if it makes a mess, it's not a big deal, not a big deal because uh it should be an easy mess to fix. Oh, my gosh, this egg did not turn out

 And like I said, for me it lasted 10 months with me using it almost every day -- I'd estimate I used it at least six or seven times a week, sometimes a couple of times a day.  Is that OK at this price point ($25 as of this writing)? I guess it depends on what you are looking for; it's essentially a disposable pan. I'm not surprised, necessarily, that it didn't even last a full year, but I'm also not thrilled. But do I want to pay more than double this amount for a "better" pan that might not last any longer? Is the long-lasting nonstick pan a myth?

The nonstick lasts about 10 months of near-daily use

 The coating kind of i don't know if this is coming off right here, but yeah, so this is it um. Do i recommend this? I think i do recommend it, but it's not what you see on tv. We you saw the the experiment that i did with the eggs and the cheese, and i cooked many other things on it, that i didn't record um and it does perform well, but that cheese experiment it just doesn't work at least not with this thing.  So i have to wear gloves, but we already talked about this. It'S so that the handle, if you have a plastic or rubber, handle it'll burn, if you put it close to the flame, it's a little bit left, but it does come off. That looks good, so that went well. I think, at least in my opinion

 Getting it wet and it's not coming off very sticky, so this is not. This is not good, not happy about it. This is supposed to be diamond diamond's not supposed to stick like this well, some of it is coming off. Not all of it, though

 So we're gon na have to see what we can do about this. So hopefully it'll be easy to clean up. I hope, let's let it cool down for a while. So there's our cheese, it's all melted, let's put it on top of the eggs okay

3 Months Test BLUE DIAMOND Ceramic Non Stick Pan by Skywind007

I think this pan is a knock off not the original company, I bought the same pan at my Florida home a couple months ago and it’s perfect, but the pan that was delivered in Rochester New York not the same thing stick on the handle gets hot very hot does not clean well immediately I’ve had the other one months and it’s perfect so I don’t know what to think I can only believe that the second pan delivered in New York was a secondary knock off from some company. Not original manufacture if somebody knows the answer please let me know they are two totally different pans from the same place just delivered to different locations.

 This is blue steel. Again, you can see it's a 9 11 inch pan looks kind of like a wok. The key guys is to not uh let it go over medium. This right here is like a medium

What'S going on boys and girls hey, this is not an infomercial and i'm not getting paid for this, but i wanted to tell you about this new pan that i've gotten it's not new, but a few months ago you know you try to get non-stick stuff. I got some non-sticks um uh stainless steel, not really non-stick, but you know it ends up, even though it's seasoned it'll stick sometimes, and even though your cast iron, even our well-seasoned one, will stick sometimes so i'll try to buy some of these teflon pots sometimes - and You know they end up just being a pain in the rear end, and so i bought this blue steel. This 11 inch blue diamond um, ceramic coated, non-stick triple stainless steel, chef's pan back in august, and the key to the key to the pan is to put it on low heat to cook. So i'm just going to show you guys this quick video, um and maybe you'll want to buy this pan

 So i'm glad i read the directions, and i suggest you to you also do that now, the chicken wings i cook at 425 and the highest temperature for this product is 450. So i i'm safe to do the chicken wings and then we're getting close to holidays. So i will be making a turkey next 

 I did read that and what's important for this is do not use spray oil, which i would have done if i hadn't read this and you could make dough, but i can't imagine the size of the bread or dough you would want to be using in this. It'S quite large and it's dishwasher safe, but they do recommend hand washing and but what was surprising to me is don't use nylon, scrubbing pads, which uh that's what i would have done to clean it. Getting ready to make chicken wings um i've washed the pan in warm sudsy water and the rack - i'm not using a rack, of course for chicken wings, but it's interesting uh. The care in use.
