1 channels of pure bozinus gon na go out on a limb and suggest bose is a halo brand. Perched above the fray a bit - maybe this is most true in the bluetooth headphone space with their quietcomfort and bose 700 headphones and, let's just say, their long, history of quality noise cancelling headphones in general. I don't sense that bose is subject to the same kind of spec sheet scrutiny as say a competing samsung lg product. It'S not a brand that believes it needs to be super transparent on wattage or pack

 Bose delivers on that front with bluetooth, airplay, voice assistance, responsive voice assistants by the way and integrated music partners. If you're a fan of the bose sound and headphones or other speakers, you're - probably going to continue to be happy here, okay, sonos are bows well, neither blast their customers with lasers or poison gas both achieve a fairly hassle-free bar. This is huge. There are sonos and bows and way way down

 The bose surrounds, while nifty just don't compete on price. Sound or flexibility with the sono surrounds a sonos 1sl pair, at least at the time of recording, is less than one-half. The price of the bose pair, the sonos, surrounds, produce a much bigger sound with a much wider frequency range. They also don't come with a ball and chain of a power, brick slash wireless module and speaker wires, and they can be freestanding living in separate rooms

 There is more echo than you would hope, and my squeaky chair, let's say falsely implicates me regularly. I hope we can kind of just go with it thanks today, i review in full the bose 700 soundbar system. That'S right, the soundbar seven to eight hundred dollars, depending on the day the base module, seven hundred dollars ouch and surround speakers. Five hundred dollars for the pair yep 5

I've been quite impressed by the Bose Soundbar 700. The few demo's I've had proved to be quite enjoyable.

I live in a small apartment and looking to upgrade our TV sound experience just a bit. Would it be better to get a soundbar or like the Jamo speakers on either side of the TV?

. i added another phone to the Bose Music app. Then after trying to use original phone again somehow the bar became offline from my Wi-fi. This is where i wish i had read the hundreds of reviews on here, and on Bose

 this $800 soundbar is now practically useless. You cannot factory reset it, you cannot connect it to your wifi system for streaming media, so you are limited to a blutooth connection where you must keep your phone open to an app and beam it, or use a wired connection from tv. Even if i could look past that, i literally cannot buy the surround speakers because without the app functioning properly, they cannot be attached. Same goes with ever adjusting the equalizer or changing the setting from music to action etc

 :) But seriously, this thing is a beast, even at a low volume, the thing shakes the walls. I actually turned the bass down one degree, and the treble up six. Center +7. This is all accomplished easily enough through the app controlled on my phone

Because this is now the second bose product that we have, that i'm not saying is like the end-all be-all, but to just dismiss them out of hand because of their brand name. Does BOSE Really SUCK? Bose SOUNDBAR 700 Review + Bose Bass Module 700

Hello, i have a Bose Soundbar 700 with rear speakers and 2 subs. My TV is Philips OLED 803. The soundbar is connected to TV into HDMI ARC 1.

  You won't find much help from Bose either. Basically you are going to be using the Bose community for your support as customer support gives the same info to everyone having different problems. That cost it a few stars.  The remote is great looking, but if you are planning to use it to control all your home theater devices you are in for a trial

 There are no buttons on the soundbar, so there is a lot of plugging and unplugging, setting and resetting your router/modem to finally get it to click and be connected. That cost is a few stars.  I still cannot get it to get all things controlled without loosing a something in the process, so I just gave up and use it for music and the soundbar. That cost is some stars as well. How committed are you?

 Those are noticeable, then I wouldn't knock Bose per se for not having Atmos, because they're still getting a very good audio experience. It'S not there yet, but very good. Now touching on the high frequencies, I never had any listening fatigue in every kind of your screeching or ear piercing moments, especially during those high-pitched noises screams jets flying buyers, some sort like that. Those high frequencies are very much kept within reason

 You know I haven't tested Sonos yet, but at least I can say, the LG model is around $ 1000. At the time this video, which includes a sub and Dolby Atmos, so you're saving about $ 500 but I'll admit it's just not as clean sounding, I would say, if you're on a budget, so your budget, conscious, I would say, look at LG, maybe some other newer, Sound bars are the way to go, but if you can shell out that additional $ 500 make a couple more deals at work, final dollars is not a big deal to you, or maybe you can back off and eat ramen and Bagel Bites for a while. You can get the best audio with boats right now, it's crazy how boats always seems to be overpriced, but when I test them to execute really really well again, I just wish that Google assistant was on here. I wish there was multi room capabilities to compete against Sonos as well, but other than that man

 The base module bose provides fulfills. All of that without a doubt, I would say if you can get it. This leads me for this sound bar plus the subwoofer. Now we're talking about a total package of $ 1500

I recently bought a new A80J and have been lurking in this thread off and on for tips and tricks, etc.  One question I have and I’m hoping some folks here can help with, is about soundbars. I had no idea first of all that they were so expensive, yikes.  That said, Best Buy seems to have two mid-range options by Sony, the HTZ9F, and the HTG700.  Overall, these are 3.1 systems that appear to support Dolby Atmos.  Do folks agree that sticking with Sony branded soundbars is the best idea with a Bravia tv?  Anyone have experience with these particular models?  I currently have a basic 2.0 Vizio soundbar that supports some version of Dolby and is plugged in with an optical cable, but it’s old, outdated, and I sometimes struggle to clearly hear voice over other sounds in the background.  Would a middle-of-the-road soundbar like the 2 Sony models I mentioned be a noticeable improvement?  I’m not obsessed with volume and raw power, more interested in quality and clarity.  In terms of the differences between them, it looks like the more expensive model is very similar except that it offers wifi, app support, and HDMI HDCP 2.2 connection.  What are the real-world benefits of these upgrades to an average user?  What does a soundbar need wifi for?  Is it really worth $200 extra?  Also, I stream all my content to the tv through built-in apps and an older Bluetooth player. Is the best way to hook either of these new soundbars up to the TV with the optical digital audio cable I’m currently using or would it be preferable to use HDMI?  I obviously have a lot to learn about all this. Appreciate any help.</p>

Soundbar Options

 A web interface would also be nice to stream music from PC. While you could connect via Bluetooth, that would mean having the PC in close enough proximity to the soundbar to establish a connection.  Overall the sound quality from all the connection methods have been great. The lack of features and issues with the app is disappointing

 The sound produced is very good and fills the room. The sound and connection have been very good when connected via the Bose App and Bluetooth devices. I didn’t give the produce 5 stars because of the issues encountered during setup and features lacking that weren’t apparent in the product descriptions or technical specs.  The setup immediately directs you to download the Bose app and follow the directions

I purchased the soundbar 700 along with the subwoofer 700. We have connected it to our TV via HDMI Arc and also use the optical output to connect to a CD changer. The sound produced is very good and fills the room. The sound and connection have been very good when connected via the Bose App and Bluetooth devices

 Another issue I have with the app (and possibly an issue with remote) is that switching from playing music through the app to TV (HDMI ARC), never works the first time. Almost always, I have to put turn the TV off, put the soundbar in standby mode and then power the TV back on.  Another lacking feature is not present is the ability to connect via web interface. If the device needs to connect to the internet and would be nice to have a web interface as an alternative control to the app

I Just ordered the sound bar 500 which will arrive tomorrow. I will also be getting the surround speakers to pair with it, those who have the surround speakers what’s everyone’s thoughts on it? Is the sub worth getting too, if so 500 or 700?

I have a mini theatre room, 3mx5m and in the process of adding some Bose sound.
