1 channels of pure bozinus gon na go out on a limb and suggest bose is a halo brand. Perched above the fray a bit - maybe this is most true in the bluetooth headphone space with their quietcomfort and bose 700 headphones and, let's just say, their long, history of quality noise cancelling headphones in general. I don't sense that bose is subject to the same kind of spec sheet scrutiny as say a competing samsung lg product. It'S not a brand that believes it needs to be super transparent on wattage or pack

 Bose delivers on that front with bluetooth, airplay, voice assistance, responsive voice assistants by the way and integrated music partners. If you're a fan of the bose sound and headphones or other speakers, you're - probably going to continue to be happy here, okay, sonos are bows well, neither blast their customers with lasers or poison gas both achieve a fairly hassle-free bar. This is huge. There are sonos and bows and way way down

 The bose surrounds, while nifty just don't compete on price. Sound or flexibility with the sono surrounds a sonos 1sl pair, at least at the time of recording, is less than one-half. The price of the bose pair, the sonos, surrounds, produce a much bigger sound with a much wider frequency range. They also don't come with a ball and chain of a power, brick slash wireless module and speaker wires, and they can be freestanding living in separate rooms

 There is more echo than you would hope, and my squeaky chair, let's say falsely implicates me regularly. I hope we can kind of just go with it thanks today, i review in full the bose 700 soundbar system. That'S right, the soundbar seven to eight hundred dollars, depending on the day the base module, seven hundred dollars ouch and surround speakers. Five hundred dollars for the pair yep 5

. i added another phone to the Bose Music app. Then after trying to use original phone again somehow the bar became offline from my Wi-fi. This is where i wish i had read the hundreds of reviews on here, and on Bose

 this $800 soundbar is now practically useless. You cannot factory reset it, you cannot connect it to your wifi system for streaming media, so you are limited to a blutooth connection where you must keep your phone open to an app and beam it, or use a wired connection from tv. Even if i could look past that, i literally cannot buy the surround speakers because without the app functioning properly, they cannot be attached. Same goes with ever adjusting the equalizer or changing the setting from music to action etc

 :) But seriously, this thing is a beast, even at a low volume, the thing shakes the walls. I actually turned the bass down one degree, and the treble up six. Center +7. This is all accomplished easily enough through the app controlled on my phone

 On the sound side, the Bose 700 soundbar is awesome. I am glad I purchased the 5.1 package. Just the soundbar would be good for watching TV (voice clarity), but not for the full movie experience and music

I purchased this product along with the Bass module and mini speakers for a 5.1 surround experience and paired with a Samsung 75 inch from Costco. I made the purchase after reading the reviews on Amazon. Bose packaging is pretty good

 Documentation requires internet access and the Bose App. I work in high tech in Silicon Valley so setting up via the app was OK not great, a lot of customer intervention. It did take 35 minutes for the Bose soundbar to update its software via my WIFI internet connection. I was aware that it was downloading and not stuck in a hung state as many of the reviewers have experienced, because I can monitor uploads/downloads from each device via my WIFI Router

Does BOSE Really SUCK? Bose SOUNDBAR 700 Review + Bose Bass Module 700

  You won't find much help from Bose either. Basically you are going to be using the Bose community for your support as customer support gives the same info to everyone having different problems. That cost it a few stars.  The remote is great looking, but if you are planning to use it to control all your home theater devices you are in for a trial

 There are no buttons on the soundbar, so there is a lot of plugging and unplugging, setting and resetting your router/modem to finally get it to click and be connected. That cost is a few stars.  You won't find much help from Bose either. Basically you are going to be using the Bose community for your support as customer support gives the same info to everyone having different problems

 I still cannot get it to get all things controlled without loosing a something in the process, so I just gave up and use it for music and the soundbar. That cost is some stars as well.  The only feature I gave this product 5 stars for is exactly what you pay large sums of money for Bose to do. Produce great sound

How committed are you?

  So over all, the sound quality sure is nice, the NC quality is amazing but I cannot continue to spend top dollar for subpar quality. Get your shit together Bose. I've had it.

 Now I know a lot of you will want to chime in and tell me it's the Apple TVs fault. Bose is a 2.3B dollar company and Apple is a 95B dollar company. Bose should fix it, the smaller ship moves for the bigger ship, that's how shit works

 In the case of my 25's, the NC switch died. But this was after at least 2-3 years of solid use.  So onto the Sound bar issues .  I hooked the sound bar up to my Apple TV and then the problems began

Onto the head phones  As **MANY** posts have pointed out, there's an issue with the 700 headphones such that when they're connected to two devices (which is a major selling point of the headphones) The audio blips periodically. Super irritating but the work around is to disconnect the second device

This will be my last Bose product after supporting the company for over a decade and a half.

 This Bose Smart Soundbar 700 was no exception. This is a very slim and nice looking unit and built well and is why I tried it. Be aware, Must have WiFi and be on your home network and Bluetooth available which I didn't want, but tried anyway. There is no on screen menu

 I have a very old 125 amp cheap Harman Kardon Audio Receiver with some very good Speakers that I have had for 20 years and it absolutely blows this sound bar away only listening in Stereo. But Surround sound is a much better experience. I think I was expecting too much from these sound bars.

 Unit sensed the WiFi connection and then is sensed it needed to update , but never finished. Tried over and over. Call to BOSE, 30 minutes on the phone did not help. Tried factory reset

Horrible Experience & Bad Sound Qaulity - Sent Back

So I've had some time to adjust to the new 5.1 setup and the software. So overall for being a somewhat tech savvy person this setup was fairly straightforward. I just had to follow the directions

 Now back to the remote at first I couldn't figure it out because I wasn't using the app to help configure the sound bar. After properly configuring this sound bar I can now use the remote to; play music, connect to Bluetooth, turn on/off and control my Xbox, turn my tv on and access most of it, setup custom inputs, automatically switching to HDMI input on TV for the button you press.

 Which brings me to my next point, the controller. This remote controller is sleek, modern, a little confusing. While the remote is in touched it shows a total of 8 buttons because they are the only ones marked visably. The rest light up from underneath it's matte rubberish finish while being really cool and somewhat helpful ( only available buttons light up ) so if you just have it on TV sound mode it just shows volume, Bluetooth, and tv

A little bigger then expected but so much better then the Bose solo that I upgraded from. This sound bar is definitely top teir as expected from the heft price tag and the manufacturers name Bose says it all. And I'm definitely happy that I went with it in white, you ever notice how every sound bar on the market is black? This helps set it apart in a great way. This sleek sound bar scores a 8/10 from me, the only way I could see improvement is if this came with a better manual

Easy setup, worth the price.

 Those are noticeable, then I wouldn't knock Bose per se for not having Atmos, because they're still getting a very good audio experience. It'S not there yet, but very good. Now touching on the high frequencies, I never had any listening fatigue in every kind of your screeching or ear piercing moments, especially during those high-pitched noises screams jets flying buyers, some sort like that. Those high frequencies are very much kept within reason
