 And you can wear it during the day, during the night, you can wear this at the office easily, and the guy who wears this is a cologne guy, but he is a beginner, he is just diving into the darker kind of fragrances. So if you are a beginner and you mostly have fresh, just basic kind of fragrances like Dior Sauvage and the original Hugo Boss, like those kind of fragrances and you want to dive into a different kind of a direction, this is a good fragrance for that. Now longevity and projection I don't know, it projected really good, but I only have it on my skin for two hours. I will write it on the screen how long this one lasts and how good the projection is eventually, so just so you know

 Oh woody, darker, woody, darker, a little bit spicy, this doesn't remind me like any of the Hugo Boss fragrances that I have right now. This one is unique, it also doesn't really smell like the original, so they have called this one Parfum, but it doesn't smell like the original and also it doesn't smell like the eau de parfum actually, this is a fragrance on its own. But I like it, it's sweet, sweet, woody, spicy, also a little bit powdery, maybe it's Tonka beans that I smell, but I don't know, it's nice. Okay, well first impression, I really really like it, what we're gonna do right now is I'm gonna let it settle down on my skin, let's see what we're gonna get in a dry down, then I come back with my full review, so I will see you in two hours, be right back in a sec

The performance is below average but not terrible. Boss Bottled Oud - my signature cold weather scent.

 Just launched, fully available now at all the retailers, pretty much, or at least I got mine at Macy's. It probably is available most elsewhere, too. Price point, don't remember. Probably expensive because it's a Parfum and it's a new release

 And I gotta say, I'm excited. As you guys probably have heard a million times by now, I love Parfums. So here we go. Nice Parfum-looking bottle, right? Looks great

 Sometimes there's a middle ground, right? But a lot of times it's one end or the other, okay? And so that's just how it is sometimes. But here in this instance, the Iris has kind of pushed back a little, not nearly to the point of any of the big Iris fragrances, Dior, Valentino, Givenchy, whatever. Nothing like those. Nothing like the Prada Lome Iris either

 So I know they brought that over to Boss the Scent, right? I think in their newest Parfum as well, wasn't that? I think they have Iris in that. Now I could be wrong here. There's probably an Iris fragrance in one of the Boss Bottleds, but it might be discontinued now. I'm sure there was, but as of right now in production, we have an Iris Boss Bottled

Best cheapies in a tropical country?

Would recommend this scent for people looking for an easy to wear, almost blind-buy-able, warm, friendly, but also fresh and fun, fragrance that will introduce you to the world of designer and niche fragrances.

This is a great entry-level fragrance for anybody getting into more classy scents. It's many steps above many of the fragrances I've experienced in my lifetime, like Axe body spray and even some colognes I've smelt on friends at parties. It starts off fresh and fun with that green apple and citrus burst at the beginning, and transitions into a smooth, warm, sweetness provided by the clove and cinnamon, along with the other notes. I have to emphasize just how smooth the sweetness is--it smells and, somehow, feels great in my nose

That said, this is mostly a warm, friendly, easy to wear scent that's not likely to really wow anyone. You will get compliments and people will generally like the way you smell, but don't expect anybody to be floored.

The product seems genuine, though it is a bit dark colored, which is a sign of counterfeiting with Boss Bottled. However, the fragrance lasts quite long and smells even better/stronger than what I remember from applying the tester of Boss Bottled from a Nordstrom's, so I can't complain. I did look up batch number for my bottle and I was shocked to see it was from 2009. I keep this fragrance in its box, on a cool shelf in my room, to slow down any degradation

 Normally, fragrances with cinnamon inside, which this one has, and synthetic apple, which this one has, must last at least eight hours. And I know a lot that last eight hours plus. This doesn't. So performance is just average

 And this is the true original. This is the German superstar fragrance. This is the pride of German fragrance making. This is boss bottled, a very unique fragrance, mainly the apple cinnamon accord is what makes this so interesting
