 Okay, I'm going to take you through preset 08B. This is called Dirty Spin. It's kind of a take on a Leslie type of a tone. We actually have the ability in the parameters to actually turn up the gain, so you're going to hear a little bit of that, too

 So take a look at the pedal here on the top. You have 12 different modes that you can actually pick through. There's actually 28 different types of effects that are loaded into here. The 12 modes allows you to turn through it though quickly if you want

 Simple controls on the top, rate and value here, the depth knob, effect level, and then parameter one, parameter two. Depending on which effect you've picked, you can actually change some of the effects in real time just right here on the top. As far as control moving through the pedal, if you switch between two presets, you can go A or you can switch to B. There's also the ability to switch it to simultaneous mode, which you can do A and B at the same time

Been playing guitar for decades (won't say how many) and been through many modulation pedals over these many years. Had a MXR phase 90 script and Boss chorus on my pedal board and replaced both with the MD-500. AWESOME PEDAL!!! Just scratching the surface with getting my favorite modulation effects setup, and they're ALL here (and more!). Easy to setup and modify parameters, and great that you can have a preset with heavy effect for clean sounds and setup a lighter version for leads as well

The MD-500 is an amazing value. All of the effects are usable and of pristine sound quality. Even the Univibe mode sounds warm, chewy and 3D. Very impressed

 I haven;t really used it out yet; but have easily generated tones that have closely emulated sounds I have previously tried to capture unsuccessfully with comparable products. I'm going to call this a win.
