Quick question, I’ve been eyeing a wireless kitchen aid  blender/chopper and I’m wondering if it’s worth it. 

I know it’s used for soups but are there any other scenarios where I would need something like it?

Great device, but immersion head is too large for my wide mouth mason jars.

 I don’t use it for longer than 1-4 minutes and I give it a break in between long jobs. They blades are still very sharp after four years.  Don’t leave it plugged in when you’re not using it. It warms up the motor which could cause it to fail

Cleaning the parts immediately after use helps to keep them in good shape, especially the tiny blades because when food gets stuck behind the blades, the blades are harder to clean. A quick rinse of hot water over the blades, soap and water to hand wash, and let it fully air dry

 I love this thing. I use it constantly. It is sooo much easier to attach the wisk and get to work, than it is to drag out my entire hand held blender, and infinitely easier to clean. (It's also small enough that i can leave it plugged in on the counter behind my pressure cooker)  The food processor works well, and is used to obliterate garlic almost daily

  This item has not been heavily used; it has never had boiling water poured in it; it has never been put in the dishwasher.  Literally, a couple of times making pesto or chopping nuts, and now it's cracked.  I expected better.

 I rarely use the small chopper bowl.  Tonight I used it, and after washing, I noticed that it had cracked along the bottom.
