This is a professional quality blender. It’s certainly a huge improvement on my old Oster. I broke the glass container on that one though it served me many years. I opted for the Breville after considerable research and comparing it to its competitors

I chose it based on it’s quieter operation, price, design features, the durable plastic container and it’s height so that it would fit under my kitchen cabinetry on the countertop. My main use is for making smoothies

The Good and Not So Good

 Yet Breville no longer has replacement parts for a blender that’s only maybe 10 years old at the most. I can’t even get a silcone gasket replacement. The gaskets on both nearly identical blenders, need to be replaced now. All gaskets require regular maintenance, and occasional replacement

 But definitely they are definitely not ancient, or extremely old. Both my blenders operate like near still. Yet Breville no longer has replacement parts for a blender that’s only maybe 10 years old at the most. I can’t even get a silcone gasket replacement

 Plus dollar blender, every 10 years. Simply because parts are no longer available for the blender. I’m very very disappointed that both these otherwise perfectly working blender leak, ever time I make a smoothie in them. I’m definitely struggling to clean up after using the blender every time I have breakfast

 I saw this Breville brand and because we've been so very pleased with our Breville hot water pot I took a chance and ordered this blender with hesitation. I IMMEDIATELY upon receiving it knew I made a good decision and every day I'm just more pleased. It's powerful. The pre-programmed blending times are awesome even though at first I wondered why I'd need them

I LOVE the wider brimmed blender jar and the lid is tight and secure and easy to snap on and get off once you figure out how to do it. It was worth every single penny which was less than my previous brand which never held up on the second one

I am beyond pleased with this blender

 And with a seven year factory warranty it’s an easy choice to make. Even if this one craps out in a few days, I know I’ll have a replacement lickety-split. In the end, I’m glad I bought this instead of the Vitamix I had been eyeing for years.

Worth It, So Far

This blender is without doubt, and I'd been having for quite a while much, much trouble finding a blender that didn't have any annoying faults, absolutely amazing. Everything about it is perfect. Not a single fault can be found with this blender. Not loud, blends perfectly (and can make A LOT if you're making a smoothie), doesn't leak at all whatsoever while blending, is highly simple to use and very simple to clean

 It is truly a gem and WELL worth the price. I can't imagine any other blender being capable of being any more perfect. This, in my eyes, is as good as it gets or could ever need to get, even for professional chefs at restaurants. Do yourself a favor if you've read this far and just buy this blender

 Very big base that houses the powerful motor and a jar that holds a lot more than the run-of-the-mill blender. Highly recommended as a good value for the price.
