 You know one thing: I've noticed with some shoes lately is that I may get some rubbing on on the the outside of my foot here. This definitely didn't have that and I think it's because of the way they've they've done. The mesh upper here he'll fit was very good in this shoe. You can see they have a pull tab here, so it's easy to get on and off, but it sits really well on the heel, no rubbing in the Achilles again

 They use kind of a more a double-layer type mesh here and definitely didn't feel any hotspots. It felt lightweight, it felt Airy.  So it's on the lower price point, while you're not getting all the bells and whistles out of the shoe the features you do get. They do really really well and I think again, there's a lot of people that can fit into this shoe well, and it can be kind of that everyday workhorse for you, that's gon na get you through a lot of your runs. So let's talk about some of the features here so first things. First, this is a neutral shoe kind of mid-level neutral shoe

Brooks Revel 4 Shoe Review - Best Budget Running Shoe of 2020

I was so excited to order the Revel 4 as I had such a great experience with the Revel 3; however, Brooks changed everything I loved about the 3 and unfortunately, it's nowhere near as comfortable as before.  They're much more narrow in the toe box than the 3's.  The cushion isn't as good as the 3's.  And they were a bit stiff coming out of the box, unlike their predecessors

I'm a long distance runner (marathon+) and I love the Revel 3, but the new Revel 4 didn't fit the same way at all unfortunately. The 4s don't feel nice on my feet and don't feel as cushioned, and the upper gaps/wrinkles oddly around the arch so it doesn't feel secure. The 4s also felt narrower and like the upper is thinner/less supportive. I had to return this one and will be stocking up on the 3s

My Revel 2 were much more supportive than the Revel 4. Bit disappointed in the change of design. And the laces never stay tied…

I like that they are lightweight and not too stiff. They're cushioned but don't have an excessively high insole which makes other shoes too clunky and awkward for me.

The thing I dislike about these shoes is that the toe box is rather narrow. My feet are a little bit wide and I'm most comfortable in Merrells for trail running shoes, but wasn't happy with their road-running shoe options. After my first run in the Revel 4s, my pinky toes were almost completely numb. I've adjusted the laces to make it more comfortable for me but I really wish a wide version of this shoe was available to give my forefoot some more breathing room

Good mid-level support; Wide-footed runners be wary!

I have been a Brooks sneaker owner for years and was unable to purchase the ones I have loved and used for ever. Because you have quite making them poor choice Pure flow 7 bring them back!! These Brook Revel 4 are garbage, I have not own them for 2 months and already the soles and bottoms are peeling away. For the money you charge for these sneakers. I owned my Pureflows 7's for 4 years without replacing them each time
