 Yeah it'll work on Windows, I don't have my Windows computer set up right now but it'll work on Windows perfectly fine, I have not tested it with Chromebook so I do apologize for that but that is the video, this is my pretty much budget recommendation for college students for at home businesses that need a laser printer for black and white printing documents only, it's very flexible, it's very affordable at $120 when it's in stock, if you are interested in it I will put a link to it in the description, I will be having some full step by step tutorials coming out because there are specific steps you are going to have to take to get it set up with whatever device that you're using but thank you guys so much for watching, if you haven't already please give the video a thumbs up, if you have any questions about this printer please put them in the comment section and I'll talk to you in the next video, bye.

My recommendation is the Brother HL-L2350DW, or the HL-L2350D if you don't care about wireless connectivity. The prices on Amazon are out of whack, but I got mine for about $100. The upfront cost is there, but the toner cartridges truly last ages compared to inkjet printer ink cartridges. You might also be able to thrift a used laser printer

Side note: inkjet printers in general are money sinks, the printers themselves are cheap but printer ink is more expensive by weight than gold.

I am looking for something that is going to last and something that we can refill the ink to save on money but that will print quality pages. What is an affordable &amp; reliable printer for a teacher?

 Well Brother, this is no different, nor was I expecting it to be; at first glance, everything seemed fine, i tore off the 1.36 kilometers of blue tape and installed the toner cartridge into the fragile plastic orange gear destroyer. I followed the instructions that were written in China for people in Turkey to translate into some form of English hieroglyphics. This proved to be futile, as the minimalist instructions gave a very expressionist/cubist interpretation of how to connect to the WiFi

 installing firmware and drivers, then the apps and finally I changed the defaults, sweat pouring from my brow and heart racing like a cavalry of mighty steeds in battle, reflexes and situational awareness hightened by the adrenaline coursing through my veins, est in sanguinem! It was done, my home office smoldering with a thick mist hanging ominously above the cut-pile carpeting, the torn test pages strewn like the carcasses of fallen soldiers. The last of the installs had finished, and though I thought the battle had been won I was soon to realize I had been outsmarted and out flanked again. As I attempted my first print, fingers crossed and nervously optimistic, I looked on in awe as the sleep indicator changed to deep sleep like the final F-U. Rage building within, i tried again

 A 750 count pack of up and up printer paper at Target cost $549, roughly equating to $0.007 per piece of paper. And with the 700 page rated starter toner cartridge included with the printer, the total cost of 700 single prints at home would be $104.90

 So before I purchased this printer, I did all my printing at a local library. It was fine for the most part, but at times it was inconvenient. Which made me wonder if getting my own printer would be worth it. Well, was it worth it? Doing some quick back in the hand calculations, at the time I purchased the printer it was $100 on Amazon

 So 700 prints would cost me $105, meaning I would get my money's worth at around 700 prints. In either scenarios, I did not account for the cost of electricity printing at home, assuming the printer is constantly on, or the cost of gas to get to the library. It may take me a while before I reach 700 print jobs, but considering the convenience of printing at home whenever I need to, the ability to extend the printing capacity by only replacing the toner and or drum, and being able to share the printer with my family, the Brother Laser Printer was definitely worth it. Overall, if you want a compact, simple to use, affordable, duplex printing, wireless, and black and white printer for yourself or family, I would recommend this printer
