I recently an using a new BrotherMFC in an office and it's awesome. The office has to upgrade because the old HP couldn't support the new Mac OS and the printer was having problems with the fax. When I ask big company IT guys they always say go with Brother.

That will probably fit the space you have, albeit tightly. Sadly, there's a severe shortage of Brother printers and I can't find the MFC-J995DW for sale at MSRP. The similar MFC-J805DW is also in short supply but may be a bit easier to find; it's a slight step down (slower printing, no touchscreen), but it takes the same cartridges and has essentially the same form factor.
