My overall thought is I like this little label maker. It fits me needs perfectly since I don't make labels that often, but I dislike the drain o battery power making just one label can do. Even if the batteries are duracell of energizer, it does not make a difference on how long they last. I can buy another label maker for the cost of batteries

The first few times I used it worked perfectly fine. It was easy to setup. However the label kept jamming up now I have to pull a little of the tape in order to keep the labels from jamming. It works but I'm wasting label tape

It works ok for the cost.

 I've not had it happen again. It also doesn't seem to be using an excessive amount of battery when in use, as I've not yet replaced the batteries and I've used it regularly.  Keep in mind that this is a basic label maker - there isn't an AC adapter option, and there isn't a whole lot of choice with fonts faces and sizes and for that I've given it four stars instead of five. If you require any of those things, another choice would be better for you

The Brother label maker is low-cost and you're not going to find any fancy features on it. However, if you want a utilitarian label maker at a relatively low price point, consider the PT70BM. I purchased this model and was rather leery because of some of the negative reviews, but my experiences with it thus far have been good. I have printed off a bunch of labels - I relabeled all my spice jars in the kitchen for starters, then moved on to random storage bins and such and I've had no problem

  Keep in mind that this is a basic label maker - there isn't an AC adapter option, and there isn't a whole lot of choice with fonts faces and sizes and for that I've given it four stars instead of five. If you require any of those things, another choice would be better for you. However, if you're like me and don't require a whole lot in label making, then this may well be the gadget you are looking for.

Works well for my needs

 NO! The second one is doing the same thing! And I don't have any idea how to return this one! I like the keyboard setup better than the Dymo brand, but I can't keep throwing $20 at a time in the trash!

I bought one of these labelers in May. From the very first time I used it, it kept showing 'Low Battery' during typing, after printing, in the middle of printing, no matter how many times I put fresh batteries in. I can't even count how much label tape I've wasted because the power turned off in the beginning, middle or end of printing! Then it's turn it off and back on, cross my fingers and try to print again. I have a battery tester and my batteries are fresh! Now I bought a second one, because I don't have my receipt for the first to return it, and I figured surely I'd just gotten a bad item
