Calico is certainly simpler to learn and play, and it's tighter and more brain-burning. But Cascadia's animal goal cards and the openness of the tile laying give me more variety and fun.

The Calico won't and so won't be forgiving at all, which is a blessing and a curse sometimes. I'd recommend wearing the toile for a bit if there's no stretch, the thigh doesn't look tight, but it might be right enough in rigid denim to cause discomfort across the upper thigh when walking/sitting/bending the leg.
