 This one is a little bit smaller and this one comes with metal hinges instead of plastic hinges, which was one of the very few complaints about the old unit that people had that. I was able to see there. We go alright, finally, got that opened up, packaged it in there really well, it's nice and protected during shipping still a pretty big unit, but that's okay, so here it is here, are the metal hinges that I was talking about the old one. Had two plastic hinges that were right about here, so those feel pretty nice

 That is able to control that's very cool, all right and it's off. Let'S do the other one just to see if it takes as many clicks of the autoignition to get going. Hello YouTube: my name is Zack and welcome to my unboxing initial review impressions and a quick comparison test of the new Camp Chef Everest. 2X. Now the reason I'm making this video is, I wasn't able to find almost any reviews of the new Everest 2x online. There are ton of reviews of the original Camp Chef Everest, but this is a new unit for I believe 2020, so I decided to go for it and get this one and I'll show you what it's all about

 I was a little ambiguous online. You can see the dimensions that I found here. It says the cooking area is 21 and a half inches by 10 inches and the overall dimensions are twenty five point, two inches by twelve point, seven inches, which actually makes it much longer than the original Everest and even longer than my Coleman signature, grill stove combo. That I have, which is a little unfortunate, so let's actually measure it out and see exactly how accurate

 I will show you the difference. Also. This is a full-size stockpot and this is a medium pot. There'S a we have a bigger one and then a smaller okay

 Sorry, I wanted to get that straight. Outta, tap. Okay, it's already warmed up a little bit, but it was 65 degrees when we brought it out here and we'll come back here when when my internal timer gets to around the 3-minute mark, so I measured this out. These dimensions are on on any website

 I can see that water that water is already steaming has probably been maybe right around a minute, but you can fit a large cast iron pan. This is a 15 inch or on this and cook with it, you can cook your 8 eggs, your bacon, your hash browns in there on that one burner, because it would spread over heat, the bottom, the pan, while you're boiling your tea water. If we can saw the green stove, it's gon na take both fires and I'm not sure it would heat up the only it would not heat up this as well. Come back over here to the water camera right in there down there

 This is a full-size stockpot and this is a medium pot. There'S a we have a bigger one and then a smaller okay. So, there's that room there's a lot of room in there and for another comparison I got this good old trusty Wagner where cast-iron pan and I'm gon na put it on the stove. It might touch that pot a little bit yeah and it does need to be seasoned, we're working on that and I'll move this pot over just a hair, so it would work

Camp Chef Everest 2X Review

 I literally just squeezed my grip while holding the stove and fixed it. Just be mindful of the propane line on the inside of the stove between the valves. my handle is pushed all the way in and the propane line is inside the flap and not touching any sharp edges, just be mindful when you do this and check it when you are done that the line is not touching the flap you bend inward. 6

just bend the flap, that your fingertips rest on, IN towards the face of the stove.. problem solved.

 I suggest you look into the MS40-6 "Mountain Series Bulk Tank Hose" that was designed and released with their Mountaineer stove... It is currently only available as a replacement part for purchase directly from the camp chef website and as of writing this review the item does not contain photos for the product description, the description does however state the MS40-6 is compatible with the Camp Chef MS2HP/Everest stove

Unboxing Thoughts.. not perfect. but best I've found.

 The controls were easy to use (again even though they were different tensions), the igniter worked well, the connections were secure and simple, it held a low flame exactly where I set it, it boiled about a gallon and a half of water that was probably around 70 degrees in a few minutes for dishes, it got the cast iron skillet hot fast, it stayed on low for the Teflon skillet (that we used instead of the Rainier griddle) and worked great. It is a very good camping stove, and the better of the two models in my opinion, but again, we were really glad we had both, her grill was great for steaks. Four stars because it isn't perfect, I had to tweak it a little right out of the box. It is not industrial equipment

 If there is a change, I will edit or remove this.  Because as of now, I say with no hesitation after 3 days of use: buy it.  update 07/20/2013: No change in my endorsement. It performed perfectly

 First the Rainier. The griddle is not good. The legs are awkward, and just barely fit into the slots. It is barely bigger than a skillet (which we used after the first morning on my Everest) and I was not impressed at all with it

 But the review is for the Everest that I bought. It is a great product, and the burners are excellent.  My packaging came with minor wrinkles at the corners, and it was shipped inside an Amazon box as well. Just normal bumps you expect to see on a manufacturers box from being moved about
