 Made in Nicaragua. Had the same issue with the Carhartt canvas work pants. Carhartt is NOT what it was decades ago. Looks like I'll have to try another brand

Sizing was awful

 Since the waist sits at the same place on my torso, this cost-saving measure is likely to render the pant a bit uncomfortable in use. Men, just think about it. I suppose if you don't urinate you'll be fine, but otherwise you may not enjoy this design change. I'm not willing to risk it

 My physique has not changed, and if anything I continue to get smaller. Critical pant dimensions seem to be outpacing my body shrinkage, and pants get tighter and tighter. This seems like either a cost-cutting measure, or perhaps lack of quality control at overseas manufacturing sites. Personally, I would rather spend an extra dollar or two and get something worth buying and something I enjoy wearing

 Carhartt seems on a path that is suicidal, and that will ultimately lead to the failure of the company. I'm tired of buying from a company that now more often than not now disappoints.

The Carhartt sizing inconsistencies strike again, with some other unfortunate design choices added

 The reason I am returning these pants is because they do drag the ground, quite a lot. I think the relaxed fit sits lower on your back and waist than normal fit pants. Instead of paying $20 or so to have these pants hemmed I'm just returning them thanks to Amazon's great returns policy. I took away a star because of the pants being smaller than normal which could bit lots of people who don't read reviews and because the lack of 28in inseam option

Quality of the pants are good. As I read everywhere Carhartt makes their pants a few sizes too small and this is true, had to order two sizes larger and it's a perfect fit all around. I need a 28inch inseam and those are not made by Carhartt for some reason. Lots of people need 28in inseams, so why not have it on here? It's $7 cheaper to order here with Prime than to buy them at retail price around $42-$43 at stores, $35 here so it's a good deal and most 30in inseams while a little long do not drag the ground on me, almost but not quite

.the 33x30 will work after a 2 day wear ideal, but then its time to wash them again. oy vay!
