On the market for many years for a reason

 It's durable and not overly expensive. If that's what you're looking for in a soft-shell briefcase then this is the one for you.  EDIT: I've now owned this case for a few months and stand by my original opinions. It's nice and sturdy and has weathered my light use of it well

I've only had the bag for a few days, so these are still my first impressions.  Durability: everything is firmly stitched and attached. The zippers pull easily and are of good quality. The attachments for the shoulder strap are plastic and stiff and may be a weak point, but they don't appear too cheaply made

I like that this bag is very durable yet light enough that I don't feel like I'm carrying a massive bag. I can either shoulder carry or hand carry. Great bag! Love the storage.

Beautiful case, perfect size and so much space!

I'm a freelancer and I have to take my computer everywhere I go. I wanted something that I could pack all my components into, had room for documents and/or a newspaper/magazine, and was above all travel-friendly. I had serious expectations, so I bought the Case Logic DLC-115 along with five (yes FIVE!!) other briefcases/computer bags. The initial draw was the compact size

  If you don't need room for extraneous personal effects, the Case Logic DLC-115 is a practical performer.

Slim, sturdy, practical

6" laptop with a slim power brick, wasn't too bulky and could fit a notepad and some other electronics, too. It has held up OK, but has several spots of fraying fabric/stitching primarily along the bottom edge from day-to-day use. I wouldn't expect it to last me 5+ years without the bottom coming unstitched completely, but I only paid $22 for it.  Full update: I've since bumped my rating down to 2 stars because this case has grossly INSUFFICIENT padding along the bottom edge, especially the corners, for actually protecting your laptop from everyday bumps or any sort of substantial drop

  TL;DR: Padding, especially in corners, is INSUFFICIENT. After 1 year of use, my laptop now has several minor dings from day-to-day carrying and some serious corner damage after one <16" fall. Great for cheap, infrequent laptop carrying; bad for any sort of real dent/fall damage protection.  Original review: Functionally, this case is pretty decent for the price, it has lots of well-thought-out pockets for organization, the handles are reasonably comfortable, it looks professional enough, etc

UPDATE: This was a 4 star review but I've had to knock it down to 2 star after using it for about 1 year. I'm tempted to go down to 1 star but I had to keep the cheap $20-25 price tag in mind, so I'll leave it at 2 stars.  TL;DR: Padding, especially in corners, is INSUFFICIENT. After 1 year of use, my laptop now has several minor dings from day-to-day carrying and some serious corner damage after one <16" fall

  If you have any plans to use this case for day-to-day travel and expect ANY sort of substantial protection from dings or fall damage, I would look elsewhere. This bag is low-cost and functional for infrequent use but it has proven itself to be useless for laptop protection from either day-to-day bumps or a relatively short fall distance onto a hard surface. I will be buying a bag with more padding next time and I suggest you do, too, if you care about protecting your laptop.
