Topo Designs Global Briefcase

• Topo Designs Global Briefcase (3-day): I first came across the Topo Quickpack and liked different ways it could be carried as a sling, fanny pack, or messenger while I have the 35L backpack on and the idea of it being a small EDC bag as we explore new places, but I don’t think it will be able to fit my laptop and I'll need to rule it out. The Global Briefcase is similar in the different ways it can be carried and it would do a better job taking the laptop and a few EDC items to a café to get some work done than the 35L bag I am already planning on. If I went this route, I could have a good amount of my things in this bag and essentially have two personal item sized bags with the 35L underpacked enough. It could hold some items and electronics while we are hiking and it would be a better EDC bag around town and working from cafes.

I know a woman that really likes her [Topo Designs Global (14L, $130), and having also used one for a trip around SF I would concur that it's pretty nice. * versatile 3-way carry options (backpack straps tuck away for really nice briefcase or shoulder carry with included strap).
