Infamous white cloth and my pocket dump for today.

 I've worked my Elementum opening and closing it hundreds of times and oiled it and it still feels gritty and doesn't open right. I adjusted the tension and it only made the blade have side to side play in it. Bottom line is that Civivi is a fantastic knife company and there isn't a doubt in my mind that I can take this knife to use and abuse and it will last years and years but it will probably never work the gritty stiff slow deployment action. If the action were what I come to expect from Civivi knives this would be a 5 star review easily

Great knife except for one detail.

 You're getting a knife that has a rock solid lock up with zero blade play. You get the taco case, the microfiber cloth, and a couple awesome WE Knife/Civivi stickers to slap on some gear.  The blade length is on the lower end of what I typically like to carry, but its roughly 3" edge gets the job done for almost every daily EDC task. The G-10 scales are nicely textured, as not to tear up your pocket

 Could probably get over this, if you just hold the knife slightly differently. My big complaint is about the blade steel. D2 steel is a good budget steel, but it's not stainless. I only carried the knife for 5 hours and it had already starting developing a ton of rust spots

 It is deep carry, which is nice, but it sweeps up pretty high at the end. It actually presses into your finger when you're disengaging the liner lock, enough that it's uncomfortable. Could probably get over this, if you just hold the knife slightly differently. My big complaint is about the blade steel

First and foremost, you're getting a lot for your money here. $50-60 gets you that amazing WE Knife Co. quality control. You're getting a knife with AMAZING action, especially at that price point

  If the pocket clip were more securely attached, this would hands-down be the best knife to carry, but after nine months' use, a clip should last longer.

 This means that over months of constant use, the screws will enlarge the holes until eventually the pocket clip no longer stays on the knife. Had to retire it from my daily carry - it's now clipless and living in my survival kit. Great little knife, liner lock not so great.

 The quick flip action works but it not crisp. It often doesn’t open all the way unless you give it a wrist flip as you open it.  Not nearly as good as the Kershaw mechanism but also a fair bit less expensive.

Kinda cheap but you get what you pay for.
