 Let's talk about it. Summertime or not, Spf is crucial. As we all know, Uv rays can cause skin damage and lead to skin cancer. Even if it's a cloudy day, those rays are just coming right through the clouds and onto your skin causing that damage

[Routine Help] finding sunscreen

I started using both the AM and PM version of this product - I do like them both, but the AM is too “sunscreen-y” for me, it smells and feels just like you're putting sunscreen on your face and does leave a bit of a greasy feeling behind. It does “pill” like other reviews state, I thought it was just dead skin at first but it happens even right after exfoliating. I've actually been using the “PM” moisturizer day and night and I prefer it - it leaves my skin soft and supple without a greasy feeling, but I'll still keep the AM for the summertime when I'm just running around and need something to throw on my face with sunscreen protection. I've noticed a definite change in my skin since starting to use the products regularly!

 So um from the reviews, my sister's perspective and my opinion I would not recommend this. This I don't know if you can handle the greasy feeling, if you maybe have dry skin you can give this a try but make sure you just do a patch test because I see people that said that it broke their skin out and it left red spots and everything. So make sure you do a patch test. Or if you have a friend that has this, make sure you just try it from a friend before purchasing it because the normal price on Amazon is 19 but the sale is like for 12

 It does say the active ingredients which I see are homozylate Meridi my meridiamate oxytensate, zinc oxide, octoprilline. That's a lot of things that are hard to pronounce. So it says um for sunscreen use, apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, apply at Lea, reapply at least every two hours. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating

Cerave Moisturizing Lotion With SPF 30 Review

Sunscreen breaks me out. It's usually because of the sticky feeling they leave behind after a couple hours. However, I have tri|d Cerave's AM spf 30 formula because it combines it with a moisturizer and it works fine. Unfortunately, I need at least spf50 because I use tetrinoin which makes my skin sensitive to the sun

I used the Cerave AM Lotion for years with great success. It was the only product on the market that perfectly moisturized and calmed my ultra-sensitive, acne-prone skin. until last week i would also use the ordinary’s 10% lactic acid + HA every 3/4 nights and Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant as a spot treatment but they haven’t really been doing much (have been using them since fall/winter of last year) and i’ve been looking up posts on this sub and i’ve decided to take a break from actives to see if it has something to do with hydration (which explains the vaseline).

AM: rinse with water, cerave fragrance free moisturizing cream (for dry to very dry skin) (+sunscreen but i’ve been going out mostly when it’s already dark so haven’t really used it lately)

I use this every morning as I live in South Florida so having a gentle moisturizer with SPF is very important. My only complaint is that it doesn't feel super moisturizing AND a lot of times leaves white streaks. At times when I get it in my hair or eyebrows, you can always see white marks when it drys. I love CeraVe products, I use the foaming cleanser daily and the moisturizing cream at night

What made the biggest (and fastest) difference for me was using Thayers Facial Toner. I buy mine at Target or Amazon. You put it on a cotton pad and apply to your face.

I also stopped using moisturizer. (which, yes, I know is against skin care law, but it cleared my acne up. I think I must have been using the wrong kind for my sensitive skin.)

It helped me with redness and inflammation and had my skin looking better within two weeks.

I have rosacea and it's great to be able to get quality products at a reasonable price with ingredients to help repair the skin barrier but minus irritating ingredients like fragrance.
