[Shelfie] My affordable yet effective routine, my skin has never looked or felt better before and I’m totally loving it

 I read that the formula was changed recently and it makes me wonder if new preservatives just don't hold up and it's gone bad, despite being a new bottle. I'd love to hear back from the company, if possible, because I really wanted to love this product because I love the brand.

Great texture, weird smell?

 Now I'm going to stick with CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser, which needs to be applied on wet skin. The first step that I'm going to do is now wetting my face and neck with lukewarm water to warm water, and then I'm going to apply the cleanser onto the skin. So let's go ahead and do this. Then use about one to two pumps, about a coin size amount of your cleanser in the palm of your hand

 So if you have normal skin, you can use about a pea-sized amount, and even apply a thin layer all over your face and neck. However, if you have a drier skin type, then you probably need to use a bit more of it, so that you have an even thicker layer all over, so that it feels comfortable on the skin, it gives you a relief, and yet moisturizes the skin well throughout the day, or throughout your night, depending on when using it. And so it has a pump, so you can adjust the amount accordingly to it. And so let's say you have a normal skin type, then you want to use again about a pea-sized amount, more or less, so that you have an even thin layer all over, but again, if you have a drier skin type, then don't hesitate and use a bit more of it, like that you can adjust the amount of it, since with the pump you are able to properly adjust it, and then use it between your fingers, and even apply it all over

 In this example, I'm going to stick to CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser, which is great for normal to dry skin. This is just an example. If you have a different one at home, go ahead and stick to it. Just make sure that it's able to remove any impurities, but at the same time won't irritate the skin and nor dries out the skin, which is important to keep in mind

 However, if you're wearing sunscreen and or makeup for the day and it's a bit more stubborn to remove, please make sure to either use at first micellar water and then move on to your daily cleanser or look into a balm or oil cleanser that's able to break down your makeup and sunscreen in one go to make sure that you will apply the moisturizing lotion on clean skin. So again, morning and evening, washing your face at first and then applying the cream to the skin is important. And so this is now what I'm going to show you on my face so that you can see it visually when trying to start at home. So again, we're going to get started with the first step, which is washing your face with a suitable cleanser for your skin type and needs

How to use Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion on Face

 I use it for my face and body and am happy with results. I was using the Trader Joe’s brand prior, and after a few hours it would wear off and then my skin would dry up. Happy so far with results

 I think this is a great option. It's affordable. It has a lot of amazing ingredients in it. The consistency, in my opinion, is beautiful

 This is something I use all the time. I use it every single week, multiple times a week, and I absolutely love it. My favorite way to use it is in the morning, but I still will use this at night, and I do feel like it gives me enough hydration to where I feel like I sleep throughout the night and I don't wake up with dry skin or tight skin. It leaves me feeling hydrated for a very long time

 Of course, everyone's skin is different. Everyone's skin responds differently and I'm not a dermatologist, but just in comparing it to all of the other moisturizers that I've tested out before, I think it's a good option because of how lightweight it is in comparison. And this moisturizer has some really amazing ingredients in it that I just always love to see in a moisturizer. So the second ingredient is glycerin, which I've talked about so many times here on this channel
