Something must’ve been up with this batch of toilet paper because every roll had a small “hole” punched in the paper… about every 10 sheets. Weird. Also not as thick/durable as the Charmin Basic I’ve purchased in the past. I know all we’re doing is wiping and flushing it down the toilet but I still expect quality in my TP!

I don't usually buy Charmin t.p. but had recently purchased some that was SO soft at the store. Apparently, this was not the same kind

 :( My kids compared it to cheap hotel toilet paper or school toilet paper. Scratchy, thin, uncomfortable. Yuck.

The regular red Charmin is better! I’m not all that happy with Charmin Essentials Strong and wouldn’t buy it again.

Strong 1-ply? Yeah no.

This reminds me of using Sears Roebuck catalog pages back in the '40's. It is about as slick as that was and takes twice as much as the regular, comfortable, 2-ply  rolls. Therefore, there is no savings in the use of this product.

We generally don't use single ply. Thus far, it seems fine and I know it is better for the septic system but I am going to wait until we have used it all to make a final decision on switching permanently.
