Coleman Xtreme 5 Cooler - Ice Lasts 5 Days In The Coleman Xtreme 5 Cooler!

 My budget was around $100 and this came in comfortably around half that on sale.  I'll just go through my main observations for you:  1) Its large, but most surprising is how tall it is. It will not fit standing up in the trunk of my sedan, but only by the smallest bit. It might work out that way for you, but for me it gets strapped in the back seat

Is it perfect? No, but it's quite good for the price.

 But when you look at the build quality compared to something like the Pelican that I am actually sitting on, this thing is beefy and I will do a full comparison but just the quality of this build, the quality of the manufacturing that goes into this, how thick it is, how heavy it is, how strong it is, you are just not going to get that with the Coleman Extreme. So it does not have that strength that you are going to expect from the premium coolers. So yes it is going to keep ice for a good amount of time, yes it is probably going to do its job, no it is probably not going to be as good as something like the Pelican or the Yeti but it is definitely not as strong. And that is something to consider when you are going out and considering purchasing one of these

 This size is 52 quarts which is the same as the Yeti 65, retails for about $50 on amazon.com links will be in the description below. Significantly cheaper than some of the more pricier coolers so to get something like this for $40 or $50 is very amazing so we're going to unbox this, we're going to have a look at it and see whether or not this is worth purchasing but the real test will be when we do the ice challenge in a future video. So initially looking at this it does look very similar to my wheeled Coleman cooler which is to be expected, it's a Coleman similar sort of outside finish which is just this ruffled plastic, it's a nice shade of blue and if we look at the lid, let's start there, we can see these indented cup holders here which is a really nice feature because you can keep cups in there, you can keep your beer in there and it is not going to fall over

 My overall thoughts are this is an exciting cooler that can keep ice for up to five days apparently and it looks really nice, it is great, it is a great cooler for a barbecue or for going camping or something like that. It is super cheap that you can get on Amazon, links will be in the description below. Build quality is good, you could definitely sit on this, stand on this, probably would not jump up and down on it but the build quality is good enough but it is not super strong like the other one. Overall it seems like a great cooler that you would be happy to spend $40 or $50 on

Coleman Xtreme 5-Day Cooler Unboxing and Initial Review

Decent cooler for the price, but comes with some draw backs.

 Holy moly, did this cooler surprise me or what? I was actually skeptical whether or not this cooler would make it the full five days. I thought it was going to run out really early in this ice test, but wow, it has really surprised me, lasting almost a full 11 days. Now, obviously, I've talked about it before, but the situations were pretty good for it, kept in the shade all day. We had mild temperatures, about 70 degrees each day, so it wasn't really hot, but still, almost 11 days for a cooler that cost about $40

 This cooler is a bargain buy selling for around 40 or 50 dollars on amazon.com. Links will be in the description below and this rivals some of the really expensive rotomolded coolers like Yeti. So we're going to put this to the test and see how long it actually keeps ice and whether or not it can live up to the five-day promise that they've got for it

 This is doing really, really well. Way better than I expected. I would actually say more than half of the ice is still going in this one. So we're now at day four of the Coleman Extreme five-day cooler and if we go ahead and have a look inside, then we can see that the ice is doing really well

 I pre-cooled this cooler a day before with a sacrificial bag of ice and we've got it filled to capacity with six of my favorite beers, the Summer Beer, which is a beer in Australia and so we've got that filled up. We're going to test how long this keeps ice for and I'll be opening it five times a day to simulate real world use and be coming back every single day to let you guys know how it's going in terms of ice retention. I've got high hopes for this cooler and so hopefully it keeps ice five days or longer. Okay so it's been 24 hours since we loaded up the Coleman Extreme five-day cooler with ice and beverages and if we go ahead and open it then we can see that ice is holding really well
