You could use any other city on the market in their loads available, but Conti clearly say you should use this stuff. Fitting Continental GP5000 TUBELESS tyres

Chicago’s roads are rough…it’s not just potholes, it’s gravel and ripped up roads and layers of potholes fixed for years on top of each other, so I was looking at 28mm, lower PSI to increase comfort while cycling without losing speed.

I have a 2022 Trek Emonda SL6 eTap. That’s a wholly carbon aero road bike with tubeless-ready Aeolus carbon rims. Standard is 25mm clincher tires. I can typically maintain 19-22mph

 When picking and choosing tires on Amazon for this size and application...these won out overall the competition

 The real test is installing them and I had ZERO ISSUES! My ONLY complaint is about PRICE. This complaint is not really about these tires..

High quality but overpriced.

 Trial tires such as the vittoria corsa, speed, tlr or the schwalbe pro 1 tt, and i've already taken it on some pretty rubbish roads thanks to our lovely video manager felix and have yet to experience a single puncture in over three months of use, touch wood. Nevertheless, this is still a tire balanced for speed and grip, rather than puncture protection, though, if you abuse it its relatively thin casing and tread, won't offer the fit and forget experience of a winter road bike, tire or a dedicated, gravel bike. Tire so just be warned with all of that out of the way, let's move on to my rolling resistance testing. Now, when the gp 5000 tr launched continental claimed that it was 20 faster than the gp 5000 tl indoors on the rollers, however, my testing showed a small but consistent advantage to a set of lightly used

 A set of tires with a lower rolling resistance should all else being equal record a faster climbing time for the same power output. I road seated for the entire climb, with my hands on the brake hoods and held as consistent a body position as possible throughout each run. Both sets of tires were set up on the same 154 aerodynamicist wheels with the same victoria latex, inner tubes and inflated to the same pressure of 65 psi. The only thing i changed between the runs was the tyres and the results showed

7 percent. I targeted an average power of 250 watts, then recorded the time taken to complete the two kilometers. A set of tires with a lower rolling resistance should all else being equal record a faster climbing time for the same power output. I road seated for the entire climb, with my hands on the brake hoods and held as consistent a body position as possible throughout each run

 In a nutshell, then it's pretty much a draw. What'S the bottom line then well, the claimed decrease in rolling resistance versus the old gp5000tl appears too good to be true, but the continental gp5000 str nevertheless remains a benchmark, tubeless road bike tyre. It strikes an ideal balance of low rolling resistance, durability and puncture protection. That makes it extremely hard to beat that is now compatible with hookless rims and is available with a choice of black or tan sidewalls plugs

If you want to keep up with your roadie friends, there’s no substitute for some performance road tires. A set of 700c Continental Grand Prix 5000 TL in size 700x28 is quite fast but still has enough volume that they’re comfortable and confidence-inspiring on fast descents. If you run tubeless, you can keep the pressure down around 75psi.

Howdy, I have a Salsa Journeyman Sora 650b. I started riding with a few roadie friends and am considering a second wheelset at 700c vs the stock 650b wheelset. I recently bought new tires which has helped a lot with my overall speed and ability to keep up on the road. (Tires: Rear - AMERICAN CLASSIC Gravel Bike Tire, Aggregate and Front - Udden) Is it worth it? I'd need an extra cassette as well for quick swap. If so, what budget-ish wheelset would you recommend?

Worth having a set of 700c for road?

... That'S game over! So what do we do? Well, We could have just swapped the tyre off, but before swapping the tyre off, I thought I'd push it to the limits Pumping the tyre up to 140 PSI

 I wouldn't be commuting on these if you're lucky enough to have a training set of wheels and a racing set of wheels. Keep these to the race. Set., Don't worry about training on them

 If they're watching this one, I am moving to GP5000 clinchers., So I've got some clinchers. 25 mm clinchers, I'm going to put some latex tubes on them, which the data shows are pretty handy when it comes to rolling resistance, So stay tuned in a few months. ( fingers crossed ) for a long-term review of the clincher version of these tyres

 Look, what I'm trying to say! Here. Is that installing these tires is not going to convert a donkey into a race horse. I'M talking about the tyres here., Not the rider

Hi, I'd love recommendations for new tires. I've been using 700x28c Continental Gatorskin tires for years and I need to replace them ASAP. I'm generally quite happy with them — the puncture resistance is fantastic. However, they're not so great in the rain. Does anyone have suggestions for something that has similar/better puncture resistance and is better in the rain? And would going up from a 28 to a 32 help with that?

I've got an argon E117 Tri with Reynolds 58c and 62c wheels front and rear using tubes , used it once for a HIM got a flat tyre. 

Would like to go tubeless, heard good things, but all people talk about is 28mm, will I not loose the aero properties from a 25mm? Can I use 25mm tubeless? 

I am I better off going to a better picture proof tyre and latex tubes?
