 this monster of a midsole, which is probably my favorite aspect of an actual sneaker you can see there. uh, there's almost like three different parts. There's three different parts of the midsole, so there's the vulcanized uh section right here of the midsole, which is like pretty standard with a lot of the Chuck Taylors and uh, it's got this phylon foam kind of design here as well. This is sort of like a cushiony I don't know if you guys can see that, but it's like cushiony like it goes in which should add a lot more Comfort to like when while you're walking and all that kind of stuff

 so in this review I'll be covering things like the specs, the information, the pricing, the sizing, and also a styling guide. So please stay tuned till the end for the whole styling bit. So first of all, I want to say that these are 170 Australian dollars which is a fairly priced sneaker, especially for all the things that you get in it. It's very chunky, especially just from the aesthetic side of it

 and I would like to say that now that I've got them on I feel like um, the heel like if you have heel slippage or problems like that with the um, the sneaker from the bottom from the back kind of It kind of lifts up and all that kind of stuff probably I don't know if this Snicker will be for you because it's kind of hard to get that heel locked down for me and I usually don't even have that problem. But so in terms of pros and cons about this sneaker, the only uh con I could see is that it might be a little bit too high and uh, that could be a cause for concern in terms of pronation of your ankle and all that kind of stuff. So that's probably the only downside I could see from it comes in three different colors I got the most minimal one which is like this cream Almost White off-white color and I'm really like can't for them to actually bring a black black and white version of this is it would be so cool I thought that would be one of their first kind of colorways to put out, but uh I think uh, these would definitely be one of their uh new high cells because I do see a lot of people um, wearing the Run star hikes and the motions and they look great. So I I have a funny feeling about this one that it will also pretty much take off and I just can't wait for the actual black and white colorway to come out

Not really the color I was looking for.

 But look, there's the cache of the Chuck Taylors. It's worth like an extra $10 or so relative to some of their more inexpensive but less interesting competitors. They're also pretty comfy. It's a nice flat sole

 But today, it doesn't matter what kind of like brand or pattern you're after, you'll find a pair of Chuck Taylors that suits your own individual aesthetic. The main downside to Chuck Taylor is that it's just a very low-tech shoe. Now of course, that's why a lot of people love this shoes, they're very like traditional, they're very old-fashioned. But no, I wouldn't recommend this for playing sports today

 Now as the construction is a super simple shoe, the label says the upper is textile, the lining is textile, and the sole is textile and rubber, so it's not that descriptive, but it's canvas. These shoes are made from cotton canvas with double stitching going through the cloth upper along here. There's also a little bit of extra rubber around the toe cap, which a lot of people miss. That helps with durability

I like the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Waterproof. Light, flexible, comfortable and I like the look of Converse Chuck's with a wide range of clothing. They are perfectly fine for hiking, long walks or going out for the night.

I know this question gets asked semi-frequently here, but I'm hoping some of you can provide advice on a good pair of waterproof or water resistant shoes. I'm looking for shoes that can do moderate day hikes, walks in the rain/shallow puddles or creeks, and are not too out of place at a casual pub. 

I've tried Vessi in the past which I liked for a while, but the heel separated from the footbed within a few months and I've heard of that happening to other people too. For that reason, I'm a little hesitant to try other startup companies, but here are the ones I'm looking at:

Durability and waterproof or at least highly water resistant are my main priorities. Being lightweight and somewhat stylish are also important, but less so. Hoping to keep it under $150.  I Think I've had to change out the laces once with these, But Overall,, after off-and-on a few months of skating, these have been holding up pretty good. These Little eyelets right here actually do a good amount of justice as far as breathability goes.. I'll catch myself a lot of the time during the Summer when I'm not wearing these shoes and they don't have these little eyelets right here
