 Now I personally like the combination of white and the gray details, so you get a gray mesh on the top and matching gray feet, although if you want to you can actually 3D print another set of feet in another shape or another color, using designs that Cooler Master released on their website. I think it's a very nice size as well being 292 millimeters in height, 185 millimeters wide and 360 millimeters deep. Now the front IO has a power button, reset button, two USB 3 ports and a combined audio jack, but unfortunately there are no type C headers, which I guess is one of those premium features that they had to scrap to keep the price down. All the panels come off very easily by just pulling on them and they do have a nice click mechanism and will sit firm enough and won't just open by themselves when pushed by cables

 If you want to build a nice compact PC to put on your desk, you usually end up choosing between smaller versions of typical tower cases or a selection of super compact niche cases from smaller brands that are usually quite expensive, and then especially if you're not in the US and live in the EU like me. Because if you want something like a Dan A4 or an Endcase M1, you also need to slap shipping costs and taxes on top of that price, and this is where this new Cooler Master NR200 comes in. So it's not a simple rehash of an older Elite case like the H100 was, but a brand new case designed completely from scratch that's trying to offer the design, the build quality, and the performance that people come to expect from small form factor cases, and it's also affordable and accessible to everyone. Now the base NR200 will cost you $80 or euros and that will get you the mesh version with two fans, and the $100 NR200P will add a third fan and a tempered glass side panel option and a PCIe riser cable, which in my opinion is actually quite a lot of extra value for just $20 more

 So I would say both cases have their own advantages but a case cannot be good if it doesn't perform well and thankfully the results I got are pretty decent. Now starting with the results of a CPU and the GPU stress test with a mesh side panel we can see CPU getting warm but staying at safe 84 degrees celsius. Now keep in mind this is a $30 CPU cooler on an 8-core Intel CPU pulling 125 watts. 67 degrees on the GPU is very comfortable too as well as 68 degrees on the VRMs and 43 degrees on the motherboard

 I can totally see this little case being quite popular especially since Cooler Master products are often very easy to buy locally without having to deal with slow and expensive imports. Good and Affordable - Cooler Master NR200 & NR200P Review

We did it! ATX Power Supply support brackets for NR200 and NR200P are now available from Cooler Master!

 Because of this I had to completly re orient my cooling setup to what you see in the second picture. I docked another star because now I can't use the glass panel with the AIO radiator mounted on the side.  The other issue I have is with the buttons on the front. The top panel sits flush with the case but the power button has to be pressed extremely hard for them to click the buttons in the circuit board below

  I had to remove the riser cable from the equation in order for this issue to be resolved so now I have a usless part I paid for laying around (the cable isn't even straight and it puts your GPU in an uneven position) It felt like it was putting unecessary stress on the Mobo's and GPUs PCIe connectors. The PCIe gen 3 fix in bios did not fix this issue. Because of this I had to completly re orient my cooling setup to what you see in the second picture. I docked another star because now I can't use the glass panel with the AIO radiator mounted on the side

Easy to build in but a few quality control issues with riser cable and top cap

 And really the only thing that I would say is kind of a concern for me of having this case on my desk is the airflow, because it's exhausting everything from the side, which means that if it's on my right side, I can feel all that air coming in, which is why it's facing the other way right now. Maybe in winter, when things are at load, it's gonna be a nice little heater, but something to keep in mind still. Cooler Master has redeemed themselves in the ITX space, and we haven't given out an award in a while, but the NR200 deserves. The hardware connect is damn good, and damn good value awards

 I find that really cool. And we also have a plastic top panel, which is also gray, trying to mix things up so it's not a boring white enclosure. The I.O

 This case surprised me in so many ways because Cooler Master in the past has been quite disappointing. But with the NR200 and the NR200P, I feel like nothing is really missing and they've really nailed the design, the price point, the feature set. With this case, they put out some serious competition versus the end case M1, for example. And the entire experience here has been almost flawless

Riser is dead, support is awful

 So they've addressed that in this one here. Something else that makes this one kind of interesting. It's the first case we've ever taken a look at that gives you both tempered glass and mesh panel side panels. So there's the tempered glass one sitting there in the box

 Phil, could you fit this in your shift? Nope. Not even close. Can you fit this radiator? Yeah, it's more than twice. You have a 120

 So I'm feeling like an inconsistent parent at the moment. The NR200P Max from Cooler Master. This was a logical upgrade to the non-Max edition, which had, in my opinion, not the best internal layout. This one just checks all the boxes in terms of small form factor build

 Do you want it to be pretty, or do you want extra airflow with a ventilated side panel? This is a SFF small form factor case, which means we're talking about ITX motherboard. We're talking about limited space for certain GPUs and stuff, but small form factor cases have definitely been making a big impression on people in the world lately. And a lot of people are enjoying it. It's not the smallest small form factor case that you're going to find, but it's definitely sleek

 I think the community has been waiting for something affordable like this for a long time.  For me, aesthetics was something I really wanted to do, so I went with a Lian Li TU150 instead.

 Any of the Noctua ones that do fit haven't been released in black chromax yet and I don't want to go with their ugly brown. There are some decent air coolers that will fit, but I wasn't really excited about any of them. 4. The fact that your only option with the glass is the vertical mount the GPU kind of defeats the purpose as the graphics card will block off the rest of your build

 Here's why: 1. When using the glass, you choke out your radiator if you mount it to the side bracket (obviously). So you have to bottom mount it and then vertical mount your GPU. The GPU does get better thermals than some other vertical mount cases, but it has still shown to hinder performance

 Then I thought that I would just do an air cooler. However, most of high performance CPU air coolers don't fit in this case. Any of the Noctua ones that do fit haven't been released in black chromax yet and I don't want to go with their ugly brown. There are some decent air coolers that will fit, but I wasn't really excited about any of them

Amazing case if you don't use the Tempered Glass

 Hang on, what's that I can hear? It seems that before I can proceed I have to do more research. This isn't going after anyone in particular although maybe the manufacturers were posting those images on their websites showing coolers installed incorrectly. Okay so what we've done is we've caught up a radiator. We're going to be using this as a test vehicle to show you how the water actually flows inside of the loop

 So if you want to gain access to absolutely every single part inside the chassis, no trouble at all. It's a similar story with the floor of the case where we have a magnetic dust filter on the outside, so simple to remove. And at the rear one screw there allows us to remove the bottom panel to reveal two more rails. So these rails here and these rails here are all interchangeable and entirely symmetrical

 Front panel is steel, you will note this is not ventilated, air does not come in through the front. Away it comes to reveal a mounting plate, you could easily put a water pump, for example, pointing here. On the side we have a mounting bracket which could be used for fans or for a radiator. Two screws to remove that bracket

 Okay so what we've done is we've caught up a radiator. We're going to be using this as a test vehicle to show you how the water actually flows inside of the loop. Saying it in case reviews for the last six months hasn't been good enough. We thought we'd actually just cut one of these open and show you how it works
