My 5900x/6800xt build

Great Case, one huge irritation though

Corsair also added a nifty channel with Velcro ties that helps to keep cables neat and organized. This sits directly beside the cable cutout in the tray, which makes it convenient for running cables to devices on both sides of the board..

On the inside of the case, the perforations continue. Like many other modern chassis, the 4000D Airflow is broken up into two main compartments. The upper compartment holds the motherboard, whereas the lower compartment is walled off behind a shroud that holds the power supply and has room for storage devices. Unlike on most rival cases, though, the metal sheet separating these two areas is covered in the same triangular perforations seen on the front of the case

Corsair 4000D Airflow Review

Have had my 4000D Airflow for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. Simple design that actually flows throughout the entire build and it gets really great thermals for the price.

So just want to get this out there since i experienced this,

Last october I completed my first build, with a 3900xt, and a rtx 3080. Not knowing that a case could matter that much i just purchased a fractal design focus g for around 40 euro's. But last week i felt like buying a new case, the Fractal was one fairly good for its price but had no psu shroud and generally just looked a bit bland.

So yesterday i upgraded my case to a corsair 4000D airflow, first of all it looks beautifull. However what amazed me the most was that my temps in game were as much as 10c lower under full load.

Keep in mind I used the same fans, 3 intake corsair LL series 120 and 2 outtake bequiet pure wings 2.

Cases do matter!

Hi, as the title says, I haven’t been able to decide on which case to pick for my first build. The cases that I can’t decide between are Lian li o11 dynamic or mini version, Corsair 4000d airflow and Meshify 2 compact. Would appreciate some opinions. Btw; will purchase an aio.

Edit: I went with the meshify 2 compact. The reason for this is because the tint on the black corsair 4000d is very dark and I wanted a clear glass panel in order to let my RGB be more visible. Didn&#39;t go for the o11 since I wanted lian li unifans for it and it was out of stock. Happy with my case it&#39;s a good compact size and I have good airflow. Thanks to everyone for their input!

Got a 4000D Airflow for my new build, only complaint is the yellow tab on the top filter, because my cat tore it off

 My gpu saw the greatest improvement, as it was hitting 82C on graphically demanding games and had its fan cranked up to the max which I think was 1500 rpm. With the new fan and better airflow of the case, I can keep it at a quiet rpm of 700 and temps now reach around 78C at the most with the same title (GPU is a Zotac 1080ti with the Kraken G12 bracket).  Cable management was a breeze in this case as it allows you to slide or even completely remove the hard drive bays if you need more space. I've stuff about 3 SSDs and one HDD no problem in this thing
