 Here you can see the white one which looks absolutely beautiful and it's a really nicely designed in a number of different ways, and there are a number of highlights to it that include, as you can see, a vertical mount at the rear for your gpu. So you want to shut off like that and by the way i'm going to do a separate video where i will be installing gpu separately also has several dust shields. As i said, there's one at the bottom as one for the power supply unit to prevent dust. Getting sucked up from the ground or your desk into your psu and also there's one on top, which is held in place with magnets, you can easily take that off and then for the installation process

 There'S a video by gamers nexus, which recommends doing this after they tested the various positions for your pump pipes on an all-in-one cooler and saying that you shouldn't put it above the pump, and this is uh potentially a problem because it means, if you are using the 360 ml radiator, like me, you have to put it the wrong way around with the pipes at the top something to bear in mind. There'S also not enough room to do a push pull set up there, but i went through the setup process anyway. I installed it with my fans on the outside, so you can get the maximum amount of rgb lighting and get some goodness going on there. The radiator behind that it's going to suck cold air on over the radiator and into the case, cooling, the cpu and the other components as well

 You can relocate that hard disk drive tray a bit further forward, but in my instance, where i've used a radiator on the front panel, there's not much room there, so it would be a problem. I am not using the hard disk drive in this setup of this machine, so perhaps not a problem, but i want to highlight for those that are thinking about buying it, the potential pitfalls of the lack of space in front of your power supply unit. If you're going to put hard drives in there, you're going to have a bit of a faff in terms of getting the power cables in, i would recommend installing the power cables before you put the power supply unit in unless you've got tiny, tiny hands or a Small child, you can use to help you install the cables now the tray is removable, but this is another niggle, because those thumb screws are in so tight that it's very difficult to get them out. You cannot get a screwdriver in at the right angle to be able to do it

 So you can slip things through. You can slip them over the top as well numerous different holes for looping your cables through and getting easy access to them now. One of the things that's interesting about this case is the setup of it. Obviously, it's airflow, so it's designed with an open venting system on the front

Corsair 4000D Airflow pros and cons - the good, the bad and the beautiful

   * That being said, you do of course want to get the most out of your CPU cooler for example, and not be choked by a closed front panel, so the move to a mesh design is a good direction to go in in my, any many others' opinion.  I'm just saying that 'closed' cases are still perfectly fine as long as they're designed with decently alternative cooling solutions, like [negative pressure setup cases]([URL REMOVED] CARDS:**

   * [Here's an in-depth consolidation of what CPU cooler to buy in 2022]([URL REMOVED] but here also some recommendations (remember that prices can vary greatly over time and per country, and should always be chosen on a per-situation basis:

* Even powerful gaming PCs use much less power than most people think, and quality power supplies can easily handle short-term peaks that might supercede even the maximum rated wattage.

 First, it doesn’t have enough room for a power supply that has a lot of cables. I had to take the power supply out of the case a few times to add more power cables to it, and each time was a pain. The holes for cable management also leave a lot to be desired, as they weren’t very big to fit all of the cables through. Perhaps the case could have been a tad wider as well, as all of the cables that ended up on the cable management side of the case became clustered due to the fact that there wasn’t much room for them to fit

 One of the pictures above shows my feeble attempt at cable management and how little space there was for them. Perhaps some small hooks on the inside could have helped keep the cables managed better. Finally, the metal covers for the PCI slots needed to be held in place better when unscrewed. When I was installing my GPU’s mounting bracket, it took me far too long to keep all of the covers in place as I screwed the bracket into the same place that the PCI ports were

Overall, this is a really nice case that has plenty of airflow (hence the “Airflow” model) and a nice tempered glass window to view all of the glorious components of the computer. However, be advised when building a PC with larger parts and a lot of cables

A great case overall, but it has some glaring flaws

 That case would be the PureBase 500DX  The 4000D Airflow by comparison:  - Can't fit a 280mm radiator in the front with the hoses on the bottom. - Can't fit fans in the front along with a radiator - Holes and spaces to run cables aren't as nicely located - Hard drive cages have to be removed for anything but a small PSU, and even with a small PSU the cables are difficult to fit and access - Only comes with two 120mm fans, while the 500dx comes with three 140mm fans. That alone far more than makes up the ~$15 price difference between the two cases - No LED lighting included - Rubber pads on the feet come off very easily  It's a fine case, but disappointing by comparison.

I finally bought this case to do a build, after using various other cases.  I can kind of understand why it gets the ratings it does, (there's many much worse cases out there) but unfortunately for myself it is completely overshadowed by a much better case at relatively the same price point. Good, but disappointing

Have had my 4000D Airflow for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. Simple design that actually flows throughout the entire build and it gets really great thermals for the price.

So just want to get this out there since i experienced this,

Last october I completed my first build, with a 3900xt, and a rtx 3080. Not knowing that a case could matter that much i just purchased a fractal design focus g for around 40 euro's. But last week i felt like buying a new case, the Fractal was one fairly good for its price but had no psu shroud and generally just looked a bit bland.

So yesterday i upgraded my case to a corsair 4000D airflow, first of all it looks beautifull. However what amazed me the most was that my temps in game were as much as 10c lower under full load.

Cases do matter!

Good case - careful with the glass panel!

 They are really good, quiet fans that are black. They also have a pst function that makes it possible to daisy chain them, as they have both a male and female connector.

Lian-li lancool 2 mesh performance or rgb version, lancool 215, be quiet pure base 500dx, phanteks p400a rgb, fractal design meshify 2 or c, p500a rgb, corsair 4000d airflow are some good ones. You might want to get some aditional fans, and for those i can personally recommend the arctic p12 pwm pst 5 pack. They are really good, quiet fans that are black. They also have a pst function that makes it possible to daisy chain them, as they have both a male and female connector

Got myself a RTX 3080 but what case should I get ? Help me out 🙏🏼

The case itself is very impressive. Sleek and minimalist design makes it easy on the eyes while also giving confidence that it will protect the precious hardware inside. The side and front panels are very easy to remove and install (just be careful of the glass panel!). Cable management is also made simple with holes that go to any location your cables need to plug into and nice inclusion of cable ties
