 So that was a little bit annoying and to mount the radiator to the actual case I had to use two two of the included spacers per screw so that is a little bit annoying I think the I'm not really entirely sure what the purpose is but if they can make those just a little bit shorter that would make everything rather easy but other than that it was fairly simple to do and it was a nice set too. Obviously as I said it's rather good looking and I do like the inclusion of the RGB LED it just it's nice that you can set it to match your system that's quite cool. Other than that in terms of actual performance it did really well. I'm using an eight core Broadwell eChip to test this on and this was fantastic

 It didn't reach more than about 65 degrees tops with Prime95 running on all well technically 16 threads so yeah I was really impressed with that. In terms of noise level it did get a little bit loud or at least in comparison to my you know fully custom rig but anyway it was relatively loud in terms of a CPU cooler but on sort of average load and I think when playing some games as well it wasn't too bad either especially considering that the GPU was probably a little bit louder so that's kind of a fair summation I think and yeah in terms of sort of scoring I'm going to go for I think a fourth Vive money. It's relatively expensive but you do get a really nice and pretty awesome cooler. Obviously do kind of pay the brand tax here but it is a very nice brand and I've heard that the support is actually pretty good so that's nice too

 So this is one really good looking CPU cooler. Corsair H100i V2 Review

Same here after my Corsair H100i started failing at one year.  Got a Noctua NH-D15 and not only is it outperforming the Corsair, it is much quieter.

After a second round of my pump going out...
both were coolermaster ML240. First was under warranty, second was just barely out.

I thought a simpler solution would be the old school heat-sink and fan set up (cheaper too)..like us old nerds used to use back in the stone ages of the 2010s.

I picked up a Noctua NH-U12S and its performance is better than the AIO ever was and superficially quieter because I got rid of the radiator and fans from the top of the case.

Unless you are doing some serious overclocking, I don't think most normal users need AIO at all for daily driving.

I know your Krakens are pretty fly looking, but from here on out, I'm rocking tan and brown.

I'm never going back to AIO

 Prime95 all day and I never get above 55c  CONS: --This is true of all radiator equipped coolers. They _Really_ should be built/custom fitted as part of the case. Otherwise it is difficult - if not impossible - to get optimally efficient air flow through the radiator. For my case I had to attach the radiator to the top of the case and the space is open around the fans and radiator so it won't draw air only through the radiator

I would buy again, I hope it holds up for a couple years

 But I had the Corsair H100i and then I switched over to the Noctua NHD 15 But I went back to this because it looks so good in the RGB and it's able to take the heat away from- oh my god. I didn't just sniff that. It takes the heat away from the CPU the fastest and that's great and it looks great. That's the number one thing for me

 Do you guys think that you would pick this up or not? Do you I want to know from the people out there to actually have this pump and if they're actually having the same Experience that I am having because it's not gonna be the same thing for everyone when I had my h100i The LEDs wouldn't work because of the software the Corsair link software was actually broken and for some people it worked So it's a give-and-take. So I wonder if you guys out there having the same issue as I've had So go ahead and leave a comment below. Thank you all for tuning in. Honestly I'm not happy with my Corsair H100i v2. - It's still noisy, because you also have fans and they will need to work pretty hard. -The radiator is a pain to clean. -I end up having to check for liquid temps not getting too high in addition to CPU temps

376v, 33-35c under normal use, 4.4Ghz 1.360v and 65-72c under 100% sustained load. I don't think I even have my fans in the optimal position; they blow air at, rather than suck air through the radiator

It's a really good looking unit and is very easy to install

 I'll show you that and you can really choose like a range of colors. So you can really match your color scheme of your system there. So getting into some performance these are the temperatures that I get on idle. As you can see the 4790k pretty much no load currently

 I did have to mount the water block upside down which is not Corsair's fault because of the small case that I have here the NZXT S340. Doesn't bother me too much and it was able to tuck the wires away so those didn't bother me too much either. Overall very nice cooler, closed-loop. It's got some good performance on it too

 Here is a test of the loudness. It's on balanced. There is another setting lower than this which is quiet. Balanced is the best for me

 Sticking around 25 degrees Celsius at max here and then just to do a torture test to show you here with prime 95 the temperatures get average about 50 degrees Celsius depending on the ambient temperature of the room of course but yeah it rarely goes over like 55 and it never goes over 50 if I'm gaming because gaming on this system does not on the 4790k does not really push the processor to max so this is a like worst-case scenario as to what the temperatures would be on a balanced fan and pump setting, quiet pump setting. So just wanted to show you that I do recommend this cooler so if you're looking for a cooler this is probably the one for you if you want closed loop.
