I purchased a i9-12900k and I've heard they throw a lot of heat so I'm thinking of using an AIO this time around. Hardware for Socket 1700 for intel processors was NOT included!

 Either way, temperatures seem absolutely fine. So, as a rule, we should all mount our radiators up top or front mounted with the pipes facing the bottom of the case, but let's face it, that looks pretty awful and you may not even have enough length to do this in the first place. H100i RGB Elite/AF Fan Discussion

 Delidding did nothing for me to bring temps down.  Workload Test: prime95 + avx2 instructions + smallfft. Note: I still need to cap my wattage to 105W to avoid that instant high power draw which causes my machine to shutdown. So during the workload it's power throttled, but not thermal throttled

 I also undervolt core and cache by 0.06v.  Pros +Temps never go above 70 on prime95 + avx2 + smallfft. +Fans don't even to go max rpms for me

 Hello, this is The Provoked Prawn and this is the Corsair IQ H150i Elite Capalux. This is a pros and cons video so I'm going to be talking about the highlights and lowlights of this 360 mil cooler from Corsair that will set you back around $180 or £180 sterling. I've done an unboxing and setup video that I'll link to in the description which goes into a lot more depth but here I just wanted to talk to you about the various pros and cons of this cooler, what I like about it, what I don't, the problems that you might have during the installation process, the niggles and the things that are really awesome about it and it is a nice device with some pretty decent specs and some very nice highlights that include these ML120 RGB fans. These are not standard Corsair ML fans and they are not the pro ones either, they are faster, quieter and also have more LEDs in them

 In the past if you had six fans you needed multiple control lighting nodes and a commander pro to get the best experience, now you've got it all controlled in one box and you can see the pump and the fans all in one place within IQ and really it's a much easier setup process and easier to control too. You can see you can set all sorts of lighting schemes and customize the look and feel of that pump head in a really nice way. Now for testing purposes I ran this with various benchmarking software and then I ran folding at home all day long from early in the morning until late in the evening and that was using 100% of my CPU and quite a bit of the GPU throughout the day and it was in a room with the windows and doors shut as well so it was a pretty hot day and it got pretty hot but the result was pretty good. It got around 70 degrees centigrade on the CPU despite being under 100% load, 65 ish on the GPU, 50 ish on the RAM and generally it wasn't too bad in terms of the performance

Corsair iCue H150i Elite Capellix Pros and Cons - what's good?

 The absolute best performance is a push/pull with either the ML120 or the AF120 Elites. Those 2 fans have a higher CFM than the other Corsair fans and set to balance/extreme in iCue, they remain super quiet and give great performance.

I have personally tested the stock ML120, SP120 and the new AF120 Elite with the H150i elite capellix. From hours of researching Corsair fans, the higher CFM fans are best on the radiators which are the ML and AF Elite fans. The absolute best performance is a push/pull with either the ML120 or the AF120 Elites. Fans for the H150i Elite Capellix?

 Air got to 82 degree Cs, only got to 72C on water.  The fans don't ramp up and down on the water cooling. The air cooler had the fans changing speeds often. The water cooling has a more consistent fan ramp

 I had to manually update the firmware several times to regain control of the software.  The CPU block is louder than the fans and the motor noise gets annoying after a while. It will wear on you like athletes foot.  I give it a four for performance
