 I had no issues with stability for the keyboard. Typing on it was a you know plenty firm experience and even without the wrist rest it was still a plenty firm experience so if you do pick this up I'm fairly certain that you're going to have a decent time at least when it's sticking on the table just fine. There is actually one more accessory that comes in the box and that is your gaming kind of style keycaps and the key puller. As I said they're more gaming style something that Corsair have been doing for a fairly long time with their mechanical gaming keyboards and it's pretty cool obviously they're a bit more sort of as a gaming styled so they're a kind of grey finish on top with this sort of full stamped aluminium kind of feel to them so they're a bit more tactile

 The keyboard is actually relatively small compared to a lot of the other kind of high end mechanical keyboards like the K95. There's no added switches on this in terms of like macro functionality but they do have a few extra buttons which are quite nice. You still have the metal volume slider sort of scroll wheel type thing which is actually very nice quality and very smooth to roll on as well as the mute button and full media keys just below that as well and you do have a couple of extra buttons including your lighting button I believe, profile switching button as well as a windows lock button. Mostly it's a bit of a strange position because it's sort of cross pattern in the centre so I'm not really sure what wires you tend to have coming out of the bottom of your keyboard but either way it's there if you want it and you do have large rubber feet on the bottom and the top as well as two sort of flick out little feet with rubber tips as well

 So do I recommend the K70 Mark II? Well generally speaking yes you do pay a little bit of Corsair tax and it is a bit more expensive than I guess you might like for this sort of keyboard but at the same time it's still a relatively decent value for money at least when you're considering the brand name keyboards anyway and it's still obviously depending on the key switches that you get a pretty decent typing experience overall it's obviously very sturdy I expect these to last a good amount of time because they are built really rather well and otherwise it has a few nice extra features obviously the RGB if you fancy that the dedicated media controls and the full USB passthrough. Now of course the real question here is will I be putting this keyboard on my desk and personally I'm going to say no here it's not really because it's a bad keyboard it's just not my personal preference and I personally feel that the Coolmaster Master Keys Pro L is a little bit of a nicer experience for me and I'm perfectly happy with it where it is so that shall be where it stays. Now of course I do still recommend this I would happily give this a gold award so feel free to check it out in the link in the description down below if you're interested in picking one up or if you're just interested in checking out the price when and where you watched this. *New* Corsair K100 AIR Wireless Ultra Low Profile Keyboard

 I kinda hate running rgb software in the backround at this point and razer wont let me save lighting profiles to my keyboard or mouse (apparently goes for newer models as well) but ICue does. Despite my better judgement I thought it would be worth the 40$ for rgb again but I got sick of it in 30 minutes and just wanted my keyboard to glow static red at all times like the cheaper model would. Only took 15 minutes to figure out how to save profiles and have a few on there just to show off before I uninstalled ICue for good. TLDR since this is probably my most rambly and sloppy review - Cherry keys are decent, keycaps feel cheap, Icue is slightly better than others, you can see the design yourself

 Its old and despite proper cleanings it's time for an upgrade soon, so I bought Razers opto mechanical to much dismay as it felt ok but not very satisfying to click and much to pricey for my mild buyers remorse. It got returned (thanks walmart) and I saw this K70 on sale. Now that my setups done, the K70 uses cherry red key switches which from everyone I talk to, is the apparent king. They are silent and linear, but not as bad as the opto mechanical so i was leaning towards using this thing

 Going from razer greens to cherry reds is still a big difference but something I felt I could get used to. If not for the really bad key caps on this thing. They feel worse than some 20$ membrane keyboards I used. I figured that maybe it was just that I wasn't used to them but the more I used them the worse they felt

Is a keyboard, rgb malfunctioned for me with no fix, cherry red is a bad for typists.

 It'S pretty loud. I know it is cherry MX blue, so you sort of expected to be allowed, but nowadays gaming keyboards are moving towards the linear switches and the silent switches, so that you're not bothering a ton of other people around you and if you're streaming or talking to people On your headphones they're, not gon na complain about the noise of your keyboard, since that gets really annoying really quickly anyways. I hope you guys enjoyed this review. I know it wasn't the most positive review, but we are straightforward and honest here after all, so that's that I'm not gon na make excuses for the keyboard

 With this software, it's called the IQ software, you can open it up and you can change different things such as the profiles, the colors, the macros and different things like that. It has eight megabytes of onboard memory and can store up to three different profiles of Lights. It'S padded and it's a little bit higher so that it matches with the height of the keyboard and speaking of height. It does have some natural inclination, and that makes it pretty easy to use

 It just seems so much more solid of a build. You get a better wrist rest this and that come very close in pricing at around $ 130. I believe that's at the time when we purchased it so prices can all change online, but that's just my personal opinion. I, like the SteelSeries keyboard, a lot better than this

Overrated Mechanical Keyboard: Corsair K70 Mk2 Mechanical Keyboard Review (MX Blue)

  All that aside, it does indeed function as a keyboard, it does keyboard things, and it is comfortable to type on. Would I pay $140 for it again? Absolutely not.

 I mostly bothered with the "upgrade" for the metal frame, and because I couldn't seem to find the K68 RGB (which I loved functionality wise) with Blue switches. Yes, the blue switches feel better to me, but that's down to preference and beside the point of the review. One of the first things that I noticed was that the supposedly "better" braided cable on this was extra thick, probably to accommodate two wires running through it for the USB pass through. It's incredibly stiff and was more of a pain to route out of the way than the standard rubber wire on the K68

 The roller is loose and smooth in its rotation, making it hard to accurately adjust the volume quickly. Maybe if it had a tactile bump for every point, similar to the wheel on a mouse it would be fine, but as is it's annoying to use. The fourth and really final gripe I have with this board, and this is important considering it's an RGB board.

Not worth the extra bells and whistles, LEDs flat out bad.

 In addition, when talking about the RGB settings, one of the nice things about the K70 Mark II is it does still have that built in memory. I think it's about eight megabytes and that would allow up to three profiles stored on the keyboard. And then, of course, if you want to like unplug the keyboard, take it with you. Those effects are basically stored on the keyboard without needing that third party application to make those changes

 You can see they also did a nice sleeving, and it just kind of gives it a nicer aesthetic look. On the rear side of the keyboard where that wire goes in, you can also see they've added an input. If you guys need to plug in your mouse or another USB adapter, you can do that on the back side of the keyboard. If you guys are deciding to use a wired mouse, which I think a lot of people do, I like that they've also added this option for cable routing on the back side of the keyboard, which is which allows you to kind of route the wire without having to, you know, wrap it around the legs of the keyboard or elevating the keyboard to kind of make things work

 If you guys need to plug in your mouse or another USB adapter, you can do that on the back side of the keyboard. If you guys are deciding to use a wired mouse, which I think a lot of people do, I like that they've also added this option for cable routing on the back side of the keyboard, which is which allows you to kind of route the wire without having to, you know, wrap it around the legs of the keyboard or elevating the keyboard to kind of make things work. It's just kind of a nice, neat implementation that we don't see on every keyboard. Since we're already looking at the rear side of the keyboard, also notice they've added these big rubber grips, and that's going to kind of help you from sliding your keyboard around

 I didn't run into any problems with that. The keyboard itself, the hardware is really durable, no issues on that front. So I would say overall, this is a really well designed keyboard. I like that it has that added USB port on the top and the great cable management routing on the backside of the keyboard

 Otherwise I have a few other brands lined up. Cherry makes their own keyboards so I may try that too. For $160 hard earned bucks, I think (I hope) for better than this.

I’ve been using cheap keyboards for over two decades. I finally decided to treat myself to a mechanical keyboard with all the features. This keyboard is $160 and I’m expecting it to be 10X better than a $16 keyboard, however I’m not particularly impressed with the build quality. Sure it’s heavy, but there is still a lot of key wiggle laterally and I found the small key caps with very tall switches to feel unstable

Not impressed.

 Looking textured metal volume, wheel, Corsair continues to include soft touch, rubberized wrist rests and as someone who won't use a keyboard without one, I consider this very important and they continue to deliver the same pleasing fit and finish that we've come to expect over the last few Years with a gorgeous solid, brushed, aluminum, backplate, rubber bottom flip out feet and a braided dual USB power cord. Although it should be noted that the second connector with two arrows on it, is not for a pass-through port but just extra power for the RGB LED lighting and significantly upgraded micro controller when you're using USB 2, if you plug in via USB 3, you only need The connector with the picture of the keyboard on it and you can leave the other one dangling. So, let's dive right into it, shall we you well publicized and much-anticipated. Special sauce here is Cherry's implementation for now exclusive to Corsair of RGB lighting within their MX series
