We know some gamers feel the Numpad hanging off the side of a full-size keyboard is just dead weight. If that sounds like you, you'll want to check out the Corsair K70 RGB TKL, which is our pick for the best TKL gaming keyboard. This keyboard is a scaled-down 80% version of the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2. Altogether it feels very well-built, its keys feel stable and well-spaced, and it has thick, doubleshot PBT keycaps.

Its latency is extremely low, and it has a maximum polling rate of 8000Hz, which is much higher than most gaming keyboards and means the keyboard can send electronic reports back to its connected computer more often. Doing so can provide slightly faster response times, but not all gamers will notice a difference with it enabled, and it can eat up a considerable amount of your system resources. Our unit has linear Cherry MX Speed switches, which feel responsive and very light. However, they don't feel completely linear. If you prefer a linear switch, it's also available with Cherry MX Reds.

Unfortunately, it doesn't include a wrist rest, meaning longer gaming sessions may tire out your hands and arms quicker. Also, while it has full RGB backlighting with individually-lit keys, the overall brightness isn't very impressive. That said, this is a very high-performance option for any fans of the TKL form factor.

The Corsair K70 RGB TKL is expensive but worth it. Its TKL build saves space but feels strong and resistant to damage. Corsair decks out the K70 RGB TKL with dedicated media keys and the ability to change RGB effects without having to download software (though you will need Corsair's iCue app for deeper customization).  
The K70 RGB TKL features doubleshot PBT keycaps that fight off smudges and sweat, so you'll never miss a beat in-game, and that are enjoyable for both gaming and typing. The board also comes with bonus cheaper ABS keycaps in the box for more style and fun. One caveat: Typing on this board may require an adjustment period for how close the keys are to each other.
Interestingly, the K70 RGB TKL has its own multi-threaded SoC, which allows it to hit an 8000 Hz polling rate &mdash; 8 times the polling rate of many of the other keyboards on this page. (But we didn't notice a difference, not even with an AMD Ryzen 5950X CPU.) More helpful was the bounty of onboard profiles (up to 50), advanced tournament-style feature set, and responsiveness of this TKL.

At a mid-range price point, the Corsair K70 RGB TKL is the best keyboard you can buy. In addition to its under-the-hood performance, the K70 RGB TKL features excellent build quality with a hard plastic chassis, durable PBT keycaps, and ergonomic kickstands that open sideways, so you don't accidentally collapse them if you move your board. Performance-wise, its near-millisecond latency provides a very fluid and responsive in-game experience, especially when combined with the light-to-press Cherry MX switches. You can get this keyboard with either classic Cherry MX Red switches or Cherry MX Speed switches, and regardless of which you spring for (pun intended), you'll find a very light switch with a short actuation distance, so pressing a key feels like an extension of your finger.

Like a lot of the keyboards on this list, the K70 RGB TKL is part of a larger K70 lineup that features keyboards of different sizes with slightly different features. While we recommend the TKL size here, as it's considered the optimum size for gaming, you might prefer a larger board like the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2, which costs a little more but also includes a wrist rest. Additionally, it's worth a note that the Corsair is a wired-only keyboard, so you may prefer the previously mentioned Logitech G715 if you want a wireless unit.

 I absolutely love this board. It does everything i want. The one thing i would really love corsair to do again is add some of that damp and foam in there clear in that space or heck, maybe make this a little more slim low profile version right there, and i think we get a little more of that Solid feel that's the one thing i would like, but other than that it does every single thing right right here now the question you're gon na ask yourself: is it worth number one, the nsrp of 150 bucks? But, more importantly, is it worth the price difference compared to the one with the mechanical switches which you can find on sale? Quite a bit right here, regular msrp on the mechanical one is 140. If i'm thinking right, but these days, you can find around 110 120 something bucks like that

 If you play high-end - and you want that little bit of competitive push, i would say it is beneficial right here. I really do. I absolutely love this keyboard. You 

 Bleed kind of radiating out through the bottom, but still it's not like this crazy disco, rgb. You know what i mean: we've seen some other keyboards. I love how you still have the rgb, but it's still kind of subtle. So it feels if we can say a little more professional, looking rgb now, if you all stuck through this video, you can catch my vibe right here

 Is it worth that price difference? I would say. Yes, it really is. If you play high-end - and you want that little bit of competitive push, i would say it is beneficial right here. I really do

I started with premade keyboards from Razer. I didn't like MX blues so I started doing research about good switches. Next thing you know google's youtube search algorithm shows me Tfue's 3500$ keyboard on Taehatypes, and then doooown the rabbit hole I went.
