 This is a non-braided cable and it's quite thin. It isn't the greatest cable I've ever had the pleasure of holding, but it does the job. Looking at the design of the Qatar Elite Wireless, the first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box and held it in my hands is that it has quite a flat, squashed design. It doesn't stand very tall off the desk. Here's a shot of it compared to my Logitech G Pro Wireless, which you can see is quite a bit chunkier. So this mouse is obviously geared towards people who use a claw or a fingertip grip

 It's priced quite competitively. The battery life is quite decent. It lasted quite a long time off of a single charge. The RGB is delivered well, as is the usual for Corsair's products

 So as far as it being on the heavier side though, it is completely comparable to those. So nothing, not like a big outlier in comparison to the others. Below that you have your final customizable button there which is your DPI button, which you can only set up to three different profiles in their software and there's different colored lights which you can also configure that too if you want for each DPI stage. Moving on to the bottom of the mouse, down here is where you find your switch it either allows you to go between your 2

 I just like to point it out as well as the shape how it narrows down in the back for me personally when I'm using claw grip I don't like that cause it just kind of makes me when I actually go down to the back of the mouse which I don't like and then also the weight distribution. If you pick your mouse up a lot you might find that ear ticketing how it kind of wants to instantly drop down on the back. These things are mostly me nitpicking but for as of me as a reviewer I like to give you guys the most accurate representation I can of what you're purchasing before you spend your hard earned money on something. And I will be doing a comparison between like this the Rival 3 and the G305 coming up here soon

 Quickly touching on connectivity and battery life right out of the bat here, because this is a wireless mouse and probably a lot of you guys are gonna be interested in that. On Corsair's website, they claim it gets up to 135 hours of battery life, which is definitely really solid, not as much as some of the competitors that we see with wireless mice, but still really good amount there. It's gonna last most people multiple months unless you're maybe a hardcore gamer, maybe not quite as long. And as always, I'm just gonna recommend, if you guys want to, just invest in getting some rechargeable batteries, even though they are a little bit more expensive upfront, it's gonna pay itself off in the long run because you're just able to keep recycling those and recharging the ones you already have

 I mean, it's nothing horrible but you're getting a decent amount of pre and post travel on your mouse one and two as well as your right side buttons on your thumb side. So nothing horrible on it. I want to bring more attention to this mouse (Corsair Katar Pro XT), as I think its an absolutely great budget option that flew under most people's radar - More info in comments

 I use a AAA battery in a AA adapter to save weight and I get noticeably better life on G305. Also the battery indicator in the Logitech software is more accurate. It warns me at 30% and I've never had the battery die on me. On iCue, it'll say I have battery life still but the mouse just dies

 The wheel button is too hard to press also and doesn't register sometimes. I use the MMB to ping in games and when double clicking the MMB, it makes pinging a chore. One last thing I noticed. The battery life is poor comparted to the G305

But legitimately my endgame mouse after maining the GPW for years. The Katar Pro XT were the exact shape changes I wanted from the G303 SE. People see 73g, but the mouse is so angular on the sides top to bottom, yet straight front to back that it basically feels like it’s in the 60 gram weight class and I don’t even have to squeeze the mouse to pick it up. Think about that

Good gaming mouse out of the box for small hands, terrible longevity.

 However, this mouse has struggled to do the bare minimum.  The batteries die insanely fast, and yes I disabled sleep mode or whatever because waking this thing up is a nightmare, and the accuracy/latency/whatever of this mouse is atrocious. The cursor stutters often, gets frozen a lot, and for lack of better words "skips frames" constantly.  Again, maybe my mouse was defective but if I were you I'd just invest in a higher end wireless mouse
