40 - I use once a week. I know that sheet masks are the totally hot thing in Korean beauty but I don’t think they do much for me other than a relaxing home spa experience. I just don’t see that they provide much and probably will not be buying more.  Eye Cream-MIZON Korean Cosmetics Snail Repair Eye Cream, 1 Ounce 1 Ounce – $13

 It has minimum smell and lightweight texture. Minimal slime factor, you wouldn’t even know it was snail in a blind comparison. It has a off white color and a lightweight consistency. It doesn’t work wall as an occlusive if that’s what you want you may need to add a different moisturizer at night

 This is a lightweight serum (which is why I use it under my makeup) but it does take some time to fully absorb in and dry on my skin. After I put this on I generally go and have breakfast before coming back to finish. The aroma leans more towards green tea which again I find refreshing for the morning. The syrup is a milky and slightly viscous with minimal stickiness

COSRX Snail Mucin Essence: 3 week results

I liked how it hydrated my face but it dries pretty tacky. I would not repurchase because I feel like it didn’t do much for my skin. It does not have any hyperpigmentation inhibitors in its ingredients so don’t expect it to help with any dark spots or marks. Overall it was a nice product but nothing too special

If you only could tell your past yourself one single thing about skincare, what would it be?

This is key in my skin routine! I feel so moisturized and healthy. Like my term I feel some troubled parts of my skin have been imported thanks to this I’d recommend this product.

 I think I prefer the Peach Slices microdart patches more for deeper pimples, since those are magic on my skin. But these are good for smaller pimples that aren't too serious.

 It's also SPF 50+ and PA+++. I currently use other sunscreens for my face, but I like to use this on my hands and neck.

Thoughts: Eye creams aren't necessary unless you have a specific concern you want to address. In my case, I have really dry under eye areas, and very noticeable dark circles. I haven't been using it long enough to address whether or not it's really helping my dark circles, but it does leave my under eye area feeling hydrated which is really nice. Especially when wearing makeup because my under eyes are the first to cake even with very little product just because they can get so dry lol

Best &amp; Worst of CosRx

Use it before a moisturizer. Recommended by a friend that had been using it on sun damage. Her results took a few months. No scent, disappears into skin

this next week, i'll be working in the ROHTO Hadalabo Gokujun Cleansing Oil. i usually use Heimish All Clean Balm, but i wanted to try something a little different that had some decent reviews. i kind of like the cleansing oil better, it's easier to transport when traveling and a little goes a long way.

i hope that with the eventual introduction of BHA and Niacinamide, i'll get some of these spots smoothed out.

the most common recommendation was basically to start from scratch: scrap everything except the Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Face Foam PM cleanser. because i had been diligent in the past about testing my skin's reaction to moisturizers, i also kept the Cosrx Snail 92 Cream and Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence (my skin drinks up snail mucin and loves it). i also refused to give up the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream.

i've been doing that for 2 weeks straight, and what you're seeing in this post is the result. my skin feels much softer and smoother every time I use the AHA, which makes sense, and i havent had any breakouts except when i shave too close and a hair becomes slightly ingrown.

3 week update since my original post (info in comments)

 BUT, heretofore, I was not able to use a more occlusive moisturizer… anything heavier than a gel consistency clogged y pores and broke me out. But using this product as an intermediary has not only helped my pores, fine lines, and moisture retention, it has helped me be able to layer heavier creams on top without breakouts. I cleanse with CeraVe hydrating cleanser, then layer this essence on a damp face. I let it sit until tacky, then follow up with the CeraVe moisturizing cream

 I would love to start integrating more of this CosRx line, because my skin has never felt so soft or looked so hydrated. I’m sure it has to do with the technique as well as the product, but I have been so impressed how gentle the product is.
