 Keeping your rice cooker, clean and fresh is very important. Using auto cleaning function makes the cleaning so easy and save me time from scrubbing a dirty pot after every cooking wipe any moisture from the inner pot to prevent smell, detach the cover clean, the steam cap after every use also remember to empty the water compartment.  But more than that the nonstick coating is very skimpy. Within a week, already the bottom of the pan's coating has scratches. 2) the menu buttons design on the top of the lid is poor. When closing the lid, more often than not, one of the buttons gets pressed and resets the menu settings 3) rice & water level markers on the inside of the pot is incredibly illegible, even with flashlights shining on it 4) even with the correctly matched water level (say for 4 cups of rice) rice tends to be dry

This rice cooker is awful! Well it's easy to use but the rice does not come out sticky. Doesn't matter what you do. The rice at best comes out fluffy but no one wants fluffy rice. Sad I waited too long and can't return it
