 I think that's a pretty good batch of rice so so far I like it now this time. What I'm gon na do is I'm gon na go, and I got this all cleaned out that cleaned out real nice. All I had to do was rinse it out and wipe it with a paper towel. I'M gon na go with a one cup of jasmine rice and I rinsed it now and you notice, there's always a little extra water when you rinse it well, when you're doing it this method - and I'm just going to fill this to the one line right here

 So as soon as this went off by the way, this took about 14 minutes, maybe 14 and a half minutes. I actually just took it out of the the heating container and let us sit on the stove and unplug the unit. So it's been sitting here for about seven minutes or so, and I did put a few drops of sesame oil in there as well. Just because I like jasmine rice with sesame oil and it's turned out real good

 I was wondering if I was putting too much water in or not like. I said in this case it won't matter we're just going to fill that up to the one line like so we're going to put the lid back on and we're going to plug it in. Let me get this out of the way and then just press cook. Alright, we'll see how long this takes I'll set the timer again, I'm assuming it's going to take maybe a little less time, but pretty much the same, we'll see alright

This is a rice cooker and it works well. However the first one lasted less than 2 years, not what I'd call a bargain. Maybe we used it a dozen times? This is my second and last purchase of overpriced junk, only because it matched our other counter top appliances and my wife insisted. The Cuisinart brand is not at all what it was 10-15 years ago
