I've been on a homemade pizza kick lately and Kenji's videos showed how easy it is to make your own dough in a food processor. So, I did a bunch of research and picked up the Cuisinart Custom 14 which was recommended by a number of reviewers. Last weekend I made Kenji's NYC pizza dough as my first recipe and it went fantastic. I let the dough ferment in the refrigerator for 2 days and had a pizza on Sunday.

I live in an appartment with relatively little storage space for kitchen apppliances, so this product sounded like a good buy. Despite this, I got myself a Cuisinart Custom 14 food processor for 250$ CAD instead, about 10$ less than this attachment. That food processor has consistently been America's Test Kitchen top pick. I don't have nearly as much confidence in the vitamix attachment and I feel better about spreading wear and tear across two appliances rather than just the one.
