 There are like a lot of reasons why i love it and there's like two reasons: why i don't like it, but why don't we just start off with why i like this all right or why my mom likes it. So the reason why we like this is because it's washable, first of all, there's a lot of waffle makers out there that are like 20 bucks, there's even one - that's like 15 10, but are they really that good? So one thing that's good about this waffle maker is that you can actually wash the pan and the top and bottom and that's what these buttons were for it, so that you can remove it and put it in the sink and wash it and put it in The dishwasher or whatever rinse it put in the dishwasher and that's really nice to have because it will actually make it last longer, which i think is part of the reason why it's quite expensive. I also like how it's so simple to use this now, there's two things that i do not like about this product, and one of them is just how it makes the pancakes and waffles. Now, i'm guessing most of you guys watching this like waffles that are crispy

 I was not paid to make this video, i'm simply just reviewing this product, because i personally like it before i start explaining about this product. I want to show you guys what it looks like here. It was like on sale for like a hundred and something bucks very expensive for a waffle, maker or pancake maker, or whatever

 I forgot to mention this in the ingredient, but you also need to add two eggs mix it well and in about a few seconds. You'Re now able to put it in the pancake, slash waffle maker, there's a range of numbers between one through six and my mom turns it up to four to preheat the machine and also don't forget to brush your pan with a little bit of butter. And that's about it now your pancakes ready and you can enjoy them and, like i said just a few minutes ago, my mom had to flip these pancakes one by one just to get to where they are right now, um she'll need to flip them all once, But i still think that's stupid and i hope there's like some sort of solution to that. I'M not sure if we're doing it wrong

 Now my countertops are protected with use the waffle maker on and don’t worry about it scratching the surface, plus it makes good waffles.

 I thought I was missing 2 feet it arrived. I called customer service and was surprised as some of the other reviewers here were, to learn that this how this unit comes, with only 2 rubber feet. I couldn't believe it and the customer service rep really wasn't going to do anything about it, except said that is how it comes. What a poor design and the reason I am giving this review 3 stars as I wanted to give top stars as everything else has been great

The fact that Cuisinart could have spent the pennies for them to put 2 additional rubber feet inserts in the bottom where they are designed to go. I made two myself by getting two 1/2 in rubber stoppers from Home Depot, that you do have to cut in half to fit in the slot, but it worked perfectly for

The unit does not fully open and lay flat so there is no option to just use the flat plate and I kind of like my slightly not entirely round pancakes. This is an excellent waffle maker. Straight forward process, mix the batter, pour it onto the hot waffle iron, close it up and wait for it to beep. Consistently turns out good waffles. The plates are easy to pop out and wash as necessary

 Due to construction, I have doubts about this lasting for years and years. Generally, from a brand like Cuisinart, one expects more quality.  If you can get this on sale, then it's a decent waffle/sandwich iron. If it's not on sale, skip it

 The plates don't fit well and move around easily, making noise and contributing to accelerated wear. The entire unit is very cheap feeling and the hinge is loose and wobbly - which I can see is actually partially due to a sliding/expansion feature so when the waffles expand the top clamshell can expand with it - however its so cheaply made it just feels terrible regardless.  Also have no idea why this would need a dial setting, you just cook the waffles until the steam stops. Unnecessary extra features just for the sake of features

I really want to love this waffle maker, but it feels far flimsier and cheaper than a different but much less expensive one I'm replacing. I decided on this model because it is one of woefully few that offers removable trays (dishwasher safe ones, too—score!!) Sleek & attractive, it looks great on the counter. Cuisinart does a good marketing job with the video, though. I guess it is possible that I received a sub-par one, but it appears that there's been several price reductions recently?

Not Overly Impressive

 I didn't mind spending more for a waffle maker that would be much more easy to clean, but I feel like the plates don't really live up to the hype.  The plates are dishwasher safe, presumably, but I feel like just one cycle in the dishwasher pretty much ruined them. Some of the coating came off on the pancake plates, so I did start hand washing them. But now after hand washing them, they are getting these weird hard, white spots on the bottom of the plates

I've giving this one a 3-star because of the removable plates for the waffle maker. I love this waffle maker, and love that it comes with pancake plates, as well. I want to love this waffle maker

It works great, design isn’t anything to shout about. It cooks waffles really nice, but I think the dial for setting the degree of brown should have been positioned to start at 9 o’clock to 3 o’clock, not 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock. When iron is hot and you’re trying to adjust this setting, you can’t see the numbers?!? Also, cord wrap is nice, a self clipping plug would have been nicer. Right now using cord wrap to secure, but past experience says the plastic wrap will fail due to repeated use, heat and then cord wraps, but you can’t secure it

really average, overpriced

I have had this for several months after my last one wearing out. I like that the plates come out and can go in the dishwasher. Otherwise, this one is flimsy compared to my last one. Just doesn't feel the same quality and doesn't make the nice thick waffles
