It doesn’t have an off/on switch

 Using the recipe for hotel waffles from Yammie's Noshery, mixing it up in my blender, then using this to make two giant waffles at a time. It was perfect! I read in the reviews that sometimes overheating can cause problems with the plastic at the back where the flipping takes place, but I figured I'd be careful, and I was always sure to turn it off and unplug after each session.

Lasted 2.5 years

I returned this item due to the poor finish on its latch (see photo), but I used it once and made the best waffles I’ve ever had! However, i also discovered a couple of things about this waffle maker that have led me to exchange it for a square-type of Cuisinart waffle maker instead.

Thank you, Amazon, for making this exchange process so easy — and so fast! And thank you, Cuisinart for offering such a model that also includes an extra set of iron plates so I can use it to make four 4” pancakes instead of four (although somewhat smaller) waffles if I want!

I also wasn’t happy about having to wipe clean all those nooks and crannies on its waffle irons! They are very deep and make a fantastic waffle, but I spent way too much time wiping off every bit of sprayed on avocado oil from in between them.

Perfect Crispy Belgium Waffles

I bought this waffle maker on a whim and it's so good!! Very easy to use (recommend using the provided scoop and not filling to the absolute top) and the "done-ness" dial is so easy and makes them all the same every time. Had a slight issue with the ready light not going off when starting the next waffle and having to reset it, but I think this was my problem as I would immediately start another waffle. Somewhat of a hassle to clean since it doesn't come apart, but just stuck the whole thing in the sink and used a sponge to clean and left to air dry. Overall, loved it!!

Affordable, Easy to use Waffle Maker

 My only criticism is the light saying it's done goes on too early. My waffles were still steaming and not toasted at all, I left it in to cook longer and it was great.
