Curvy Kate Luxe Strapless Bra Review

The fitter first put me in a 34FF- way too big in the band. Then a 32F- way too small in the cup. She was also weirdly trash talking the store through our fitting which made me very uncomfortable, and in an effort to just get out of there and come back another day, I succumbed to my people-pleasing/confrontation avoidant nature and purchased the last bra she put me in- which she INSISTED was a GREAT fit. The bra I ended up purchasing is a Curvy Kate Luxe strapless in a 32H

The cup size was completely wrong. I am a US 30H and checked the size chart and reviews to see if I needed to order my US sixe or their UK size. I ordered their UK size as I was told to (and normally do) and the cup only covers about half of my boob. It still works *decently* with most tops I wear because they have ruching and are tighter so they also help to shape it

 But their sizing is waaay off here.  The bra itself is very durable and well made, appears to be authentic despite the price. Doesn't come in their normal packaging though, so idk.  Perhaps message them directly to confirm which size to order

Any tips for strapless bras that are actually supportive?

I got this in 34GG and it fits, but I'm disappointed that there are thick, raised, vertical seams on the cups that are very visible when worn with the dress I intended it for. The dress fabric is fairly heavy knit, and is lined, but the seams are still quite prominent and I don't care for the appearance, especially since you can see 2 thick lines on each cup . Finding strapless bras in this size is difficult, so I'll keep it anyway, hopefully able to use it otherwise. The shipping took 9 days/ i

Are strapless wonder-bras worth the hype for big chested people? (28G)

Ordered a 32HH after reading many comments that strapless bras tend to run a little small in the cup, and should be purchased 1-2 cups larger. My normal size is 32H US. The band fit is just right, but the cups were a little larger than I expected. This is my first experience with Curvy Kate bras; I should've read the sizing guide before ordering

That said, the Curvy Kate Luxe is my go to and has worked out very well in support and staying in place, but it is rather tall, has a hardier structure, and does not provide as much forward projection. I've tried the Elomi, Panache, and Fantasie strapless, which were smoother under clothing but also sat lower and wider than the Luxe. So is there one that works for you? Likely!

Difficult fit.

Posted this on another thread, but the Curvy Kate Luxe works for me. Strapless bras are a bit of a holy grail - good luck finding one that isn’t too tight or that you have to spend the entire time wearing it adjusting your boobs. (Although, to be honest, this tends to be more of an issue with bigger boobs, so you may get lucky):.

So months back I stumbled across this sub somehow (I think a girl in my apartment told me) and decided to give it a try, I don't remember all the details but I put in my measurements, got a weird result, and just went with it since I didn't know anything about bras anyway. I didn't spend much time on it but I do remember that I didn't find my suggested size and just got the closest thing I could find on Amazon because it was on sale. Result was that the cup was way better than any bras I've tried before, but the band was still loose and imperfect, I don't really know how to best describe it but it's basically better than my old bras but still slips around noticeably. Decided not to fuss about it since lockdown started so I wasn't going out anyway.

Recently someone I know is getting married and they are having a wedding, not anytime soon but they're letting people know in advance. The situation is that the bride has requested for the women to wear strapless dresses because she is getting a dress with some super fancy creative shoulder detail that she wants to showcase. Naturally, this calls for a strapless bra!

I don't have any clue where to search, but I looked at major retailers like Amazon and a bunch of random brands and had trouble finding my suggested size. Am I doing something wrong? I'm from America so maybe it's a UK sizing thing?

My measurements in inches: 

Loose UB: 26

Snug UB: 25

Tight UB: 24.5

Standing Bust: 32

Leaning Bust: 33.5

Lying Bust: 30

And also I would strongly prefer something that can be bought in America or Canada and maybe around the $50 price point, but I noticed some places have their strapless bras more expensive than normal bras so I'm very open to being less picky if there's a really good option.
