 Well, this is going to be the part where the video starts to get subjective. Everybody hears sound differently, everybody has a different room, and everybody has different likes and dislikes when it comes to audio, so I can't say for sure if you'll like this receiver or not. With that said, personally, I was very pleased with the sound of this receiver. It had a very smooth and laid-back sound that I tend to prefer, while at the same time it still had plenty of detail and liveliness

Boy was I wrong. I just picked up a Denon AVR-S750H earlier this week for around $550. Oh my God.

This is your PSA to buy a new receiver if you have one that "works ok"

 I used professional grade speaker wires and hdmi and digital optical sound cables. No resolution. The unit has become a shelf ornament, replaced by an available sound bar with wireless surround speakers.

 So right off the bat it wasn't very heavy. So I am going to be kind of digging deep in the specifications on this because I am kind of curious how it's putting out 125 watts by seven channels when it's not very heavy. So that is a curiosity of mine. But here it is

Uh, this is okay. so it does come with Odyssey uh which is a micro which is a microphone for sound calibration. uh just to make sure all your you know speakers are you know, in sync and doing their job right. I think that's pretty cool that a an Avr at this price point includes Odyssey in their Uh in their system and I will be explaining Odyssey in the clip ahead

People will crap on soundbars all day around here but then tell you that you need to spend 2-3k just to play ball. That’s BS. The Denon AVR I listed and that speaker set will dance circles around *any* soundbar.

Can anyone help me set up a low budget movie theater room? Just bought a house with a theater room. I have a projector already (not the best) - I have no idea how to set up/purchase wired speakers. Any advice appreciated!!

Don't like it because Denon removed the input / outputs , So you're locked into a Denon with NO share but bluetooth. You have one input on this device with NO outputs for other devices

 Um, so here's the front of it. We've got cable bluetooth game heroes and then we've got our different sound modes: the master volume, the source input selector, zone one or two on or off the source for zone one or two tuners, presets for your radio band mode, dimmer, and status. This features the Odyssey multi Eq, so you can plug in the microphone and fine-tune this receiver to your room. It's also got built-in bluetooth and airplay, so if you have an iphone, it automatically will find it on if it's connected to the Wi-fi in your house and you don't need anything else, anybody who comes over can pair their phone

 You have the ability to hook up seven speakers so of course front, two, left, and right, the center for the front, the surround rear, left, and um, right and then even the height, rear, and height left speaker outputs. so that is a quick look at the Denon receiver. If you guys have any questions, go ahead and leave them down below. Let me know your thoughts and opinions

 We have the antenna for the Fm radio. Our subwoofer output are video inputs and outputs Monitors digital audio in coaxial, odd optical. I would say just go with optical for everything network cable if you needed that and then we can. Also, this has Hdmi pass-through so we can just route our Hdmi devices into here and then shoot it out with the monitor cable

 I think I paid about 300 refurbished on Denon's site and I just want to go over some of the features here. I have it paired on um, these Bose Acoustimass, 10s and it's really cool because this denim system has its own user interface and it supports Internet radio, Siriusxm, Pandora, Alexa, Amazon, I mean Google Home. all that good stuff is built right into that receiver and I found on the web alexa stop so we can hit this kiosk music and that's what's um, the system that's built in. it has it on most Denon products and I would really say this is a game changer for the receiver guys

Ordered from Denon a refurbished AVR-S750H for $375 shipped last night. Been reading a lot here about what speakers to get. I am trying to budget $1500 for the whole system but am a bit flexible. I am totally good with pricing together a system but just need to know where the deals are and if I should wait until actual Black Friday to buy it all

 I do highly recommend it if you want a GREAT surround sound experience. Now, if you are expecting LOUD, WALLS SHAKING reproduction from this unit, look elsewhere. Note: The lower-than-expected sound volume is only experienced when using the unit in my home theater. When I use BlueTooth connected to my iPhone to play music it perform just as well and as loud as my Yamaha did, plus with better quality

As I wrote in the title, this unit is fantastic in "surround sounding" you from top to bottom. Especially when I can get it playing DTS sound formats (DTS is so much better most of the time in so many cases..

 Note: The lower-than-expected sound volume is only experienced when using the unit in my home theater. When I use BlueTooth connected to my iPhone to play music it perform just as well and as loud as my Yamaha did, plus with better quality. So, I'm not sure what's going on when it is used in my home theater. I'll update this review if anything new comes up

Hello! I'm looking for a "compact" 5.1 surround sound system. I current have a 77" LG OLED and a Vizio 5.1 soundbar. While I like my Vizio 5.1 soundbar, I'm just sick of how buggy it is. I want speaker wires (opposed to wireless) and a dedicated AV receiver. I don't want big floorstanding speakers as I live in a townhome: I can't turn the speakers (specifically subwoofer) up so I feel it's a waste of space and money.

From a form factor point of view, the Klipsch 5.1 Reference Theater Pack looks attractive. I'm open to small bookshelf speakers that will be wall mounted. Cost isn't an issue, as long as it's not like $5,000+. I don't mind paying for quality and design.
