New user of 75x90j, loving the video... Just trying to get my audio right. I stream everything from my Sony Google tv. No external peripherals connected to my tv via HDMI.

My denon receiver (2113avr) and tv are connected via optical. My audio setting is set to optical output.

Is that the best way. Should it be HDMI?

Also, I have to use my denon remote to control volume, which I don&#39;t want to do. I would prefer one remote.

 I feel that a $700 dollar receiver shouldn't need an add on HDMI adapter to work properly, so I am returning the item. So even if you don't have either the software or television that shows you these functions, be cautious if your recievers serial number falls into this range or when trying to select the 4k/8k option and you get the notice of "TV not configured for this type of connection". What bothers me is that the sellers should know of this issue since this is an older model and Denon has know about it for awhile, and nothing is mentioned, knowing that most will not notice. Your paying the extra cost for these features and not even getting them

 I then called Denon, (whose customer service is very good and easy to understand), and they confirmed that it was an issue with this model with serial numbers ending in less than 7000. I was told to either return the item or I could create a ticket and ask for a HDMI adapter that MIGHT fix the problem. 4k/8k HDMI doesn't work with earlier models

 Yeah. So yeah, we're talking about how it has a two subwoofer outputs, but they're not independent, right? With, when you get to the 3700H and up, I guess you can, you can level match them, right? So if this one's a little too loud, you can turn this one down to match this other one. Whereas with these, they're both, this is just split, right? So it can't adjust the levels on one of them and pre-outs 11 channels of processing, correct? Yeah. Now we're talking about the difference between, you know, just going up to the 3700H, but I'm really just very curious about the S series versus the X series

 Yeah, the main thing I'm noticing is different faceplate. See if the remotes are even different. Or this has the lack of a faceplate, I should say. Does that have a front cover or not? Okay, let's look at the inside

Looking for some feedback on the PX748-4k.  I have been hunting for reviews and have hard a really hard time finding any.  I have been hunting for a 4k projector upgrade for my solid 1080P DLP for quite some time.  Nothing wrong with the Pro7827HD, just wanting a better picture for my 120" fixed screen.  I also would like to step up to HDR, and this model supports HDR formats.

On paper, it seems like the PX748 will be a significant upgrade in terms of both brightness performance as well as DLP chipset should be much faster for input when gaming.

Am I missing any good options under $1500?

We have a 65" LG 4K TV, 4K blu-ray, and a Roku Ultra for streaming - I just need the AVR and speakers. Budget is around $2 - 2.5k, with the only restriction being I can't hang the speakers or install them in the ceiling (for now 😏). I saw the Polk Monitor line linked below is currently on sale at Best Buy and would fit the budget nicely, while also offering some up-firing speakers that should help reproduce the Atmos feel. 

Any thoughts on this setup, or any other components you'd recommend instead? For what it's worth - I looked at the stickied recommendations thread, but a lot of those no longer match the prices listed and aren't readily available anywhere to test out.
