 Now because of how I had to film this today, I do have auto focus on my camera, so the focus may go in and out a little bit. I do apologize in advance for that. All right, so we have our quick start guide, our read me first quick start guide, our AVR remote. This does come with batteries, I believe, but we have the remote

 We have two R820F floor standing speakers from Klipsch. And then we have our R34C center channel speaker from Klipsch. It's going into this Denon X3500H AVR and then playing out on the Samsung UN65KS 9000 4K television. So this is going to be a great addition to my home theater setup

 All right. So now we've come to the point where we're going to have to connect things to the AVR so it knows what to do. So we've got our Blu-ray player, our UHD Blu-ray player, our game console, and now we have to set up the Apple TV, which I have plugged into the media player box. So we're going to go ahead and turn on the Apple TV

 We have some AAA batteries for the remote, and then we have the AVR. So let me go ahead and unbox this. Okay, so I got everything unboxed, which is good. It wasn't actually really all that difficult

Can anyone help me set up a low budget movie theater room? Just bought a house with a theater room. I have a projector already (not the best) - I have no idea how to set up/purchase wired speakers. Any advice appreciated!!

 So how about it Denon, be the first to develop a good old fashioned Dumb Line that puts all the quality into the basic features, great sound and great picture. Leave the rest to a Smart Hub that any of us can choose to connect. That's my Soapbox for the day. Now maybe I'll go watch something Apocalyptic where the smart machines take over !!! ;-) !!!

) Another feature that is extra frustrating as that for some reason the Video Select option is only compatible with 2 component inputs besides the Tuner (which of course is taken) and the HEOS channel that allows music streaming from an outside server or the internet (again, dedicated to only that use). So although there are about 12 other channels/ inputs (8 HDMI), only 2 allow you to listen to music while you have the TV on, The CD player channel, and the PHONO input. Again, it took a while for me to grapple with this reality , and hours of attempting to figure out work arounds when I was using my DVD player (assigned to the BluRay Channel and using ARC HDMI) as a CD player to listen to music and was unable to turn on a basketball game on the TV at the same time. So you need to either not run your TV through the system (completely counter to having the system!!) or have a separate CD player and connect it to the CD channel/input if you want to do that

 Seemingly obvious and simple features like this are becoming more and more a part of forced obsolescence, as all manufacturers just herd everyone into streaming-only and no longer allow certain basic functionality ( just like why your DVD players no longer have Digital displays, or don't allow you to watch TV if you are using them to play CDs, which are presumed by the industry to no longer exist!!!). It is amazing to me that not only is there no longer any company that will service the market who just want their components to be the best components they can be, not the best way to turn their house lights on and off, but that we are also gradually losing basic feature functions in the process. Again, just to pick on that one particular feature (or non-feature), I am not sure if there are any AVR's out there these days that provide the Video Select feature with every possible compatible input, as they should; and there just aren't enough people left out there who understand or remember the basic simple functions and features to even know the answer to that, even tech support at the manufacturers! I think it's a shame. The first major manufacturer to start a basically "dumb" but good line will be pleasantly surprised with the size of the market that is still out there and that would prefer "dumb" components that focus on simplicity of the basic, and what should be obvious features, and that put all the effort into making the component the best it can be for the feature for which it was primarily intended

this is totally audiophile level. You have nice speakers all around, And I think I'm seeing a Denon AVR? You don't need $130k science fiction looking speakers designed in some underground lab to be considered an audiophile lol. In the world that 99% of people listen to music on their cheap earbuds and phones, Anyone who spends even around $600-700 for their music listening is considered an audiophile in my book.

Not audiophile grade definitely, but this is where I listen my favorite music.
