 The volume had to be clicked up about 15 times to finally hear something.  Once you’ve hit this point congrats! You’ve done what Denon couldn’t bother to explain clearly. Now I’ll post my criticisms….  Some of these may be due to the TV behavior, so take with a grain of salt… but every time the bar turns on, my TV flips to the input that ARC is active on which obviously doesn’t show any content, as it’s been dedicated to sending audio data to the sound bar

  Trying to set this up with that Samsung involved utilizing the HDMI 4 ARC-equipped TV port. At first I could get no sound from it. Most documentation is lacking many technical details, but for me ensuring HDMI-CEC (What Samsung called “Anynet+”) was done in advance. I chose to use Ethernet for networking which most documentation lacks to explain the setup process for

 Dialog still becomes muffled even with the Dialog Enhancer enabled. Bass is present however, the most noticeable upgrade from my premium Samsung built in speakers.  Trying to set this up with that Samsung involved utilizing the HDMI 4 ARC-equipped TV port. At first I could get no sound from it

 If I connect Bluetooth headphones to the TV at night the TV will shut off the bar connection and blast the TV speakers if the TV volume was left up. Most of these gripes are due to poor TV user experience and likely not the sound bar.  The sound bar itself seems to be fairly good but not the massive improvement I was hoping for over the built in speakers. For $600 MSRP I would have expected a much better audio experience from a company like Denon

Hello, these you mentioned are PA speakers. PA Speakers are designed and adjusted to prioritize loudness over bass and play with sub. So most of PA speakers even with large woofer don't go under 50Hz.  
This is reason why for example JBL Partybox 100 play deeper. Also sound color is a bit close to standard Hi-fi.  
  
I have to mention that for 250$ there isn't perfect BT speaker.  
The best value for money speakers are currently:  
 JBL Partybox 100/310 - loud, deep bass, outstanding sound quality, can be paired for stereo.  
Motion Boom - loud for it's size, deep bass, outstanding sound quality, can be paired for stereo, app with EQ(very important for this speaker).  
Motion+ - great sound quality for it's price but no deep bass, app with EQ (very important for this speaker).  
  
One of the best  sound quality speaker with strong bass for affordable price is probably Aiwa Exos-9 currently about 360$ (This speaker beats also Naim Mu-so 2 for 1600$).

Gemini is known for making hot garbage. Save up for a JBL partybox if you want a big portable party speaker. A pair of $100 soundcore Boom speakers will sound better than the cheapo disco speakers from Gemini/Pyle.

) Anyway, the Denon is twice the size of the Beolit, $100 more money, and needs line power. Not worth the small sound quality improvement in my opinion. If its audiophile sound you want, you need to have a subwoofer. Period

 As with all the speakers I've tested, you lose a lot of control of Spotify when playing with WiFi since the equalizer and sound quality buttons are disabled. At least the Denon did allow you to "Like" songs. I do not hear an appreciable difference between WiFi and bluetooth on other brands that allow you to play either. Any supposed improvement when using WiFi is more than offset by the lack of an equalizer

 Not the Denon. You have to load their stupid app and "setup new speaker" every time to have any chance to get it to play. Even when my iphone X indicates that it IS playing to the Denon, there is no sound! WiFi is even more tempermental. I got it to play using WiFi in one location but in another it simply would not connect

HORRIBLE Connectivity

  If you are between Sonos and a Denon whole-home wireless system, go Sonos unless you enjoy solving finicky puzzles or confusing your wife. The problem above and the HEOS app issues are inexcusable. Sorry, Denon.  HOWEVER

The Heos app needs to be updated or replaced - it's not intuitive, doesn't always work the first time, and if you have multiple wireless and wired connections, good luck. ONLY PLAYS MUSIC.  Good sound, otherwise a disappointment.

After much deliberation, I decided to go with Denon Home 350 only because of the specs and wider range of hi-res format support. I am not an Audiophile myself, I am trying to appreciate hi-res music for the first time in my life, and got an Amazon music HD subscription. Between Blue Sound and Denon, Denon promised support for DSD 2.8/5

 I did not know it before but the AirPlay is limited to 44KHz, so all my music with a higher sampling rate was downgraded. I tried the Denon HEOS App, the user interface was terrible, so I gave up and stuck to Airplay instead,  At this point, I set my mind up and tried to enjoy whatever the optimal quality was. The sound quality was a bit mellow to my personal taste, I prefer a stronger presence, but after listening to it for an hour or so, I just fell in love with the sound. It was very clear voice quality with wonderful music, what can I ask for?  Then the real problem started, the Airplay kept dropping off, it was like few seconds of audio gone intermittently while playing the music

I really wanted to give it five stars

 Bass is excellent. The sound quality is always incredibly clear and plays without issue when connected properly (after about a month or two of ownership-- no decline in quality).  That said, I have fiber gigabit connection and I struggle to keep a couple speakers and an AVR working when grouped together on the HEOS app. Without fail these speakers will drop occasionally even after boosting my Wi-Fi signal

The sound on these is incredible, especially for the price. They can easily fill up a moderate to large sized room. Bass is excellent. The sound quality is always incredibly clear and plays without issue when connected properly (after about a month or two of ownership-- no decline in quality)
