Exfoliate only 1-2 times a week and focus on hydration and moisture. The advice to use a sugar scrub is well intentioned but it’s definitely too harsh for your face. Opt for something more gentle like Dermalogica Microfoliant! If you do end up using sugar, only mix a teaspoon at most into your cleanser and be very gentle.

This is my go too for a mild exfoliate and it also adds a brightness with mild scent like rice cooking. I really like how this feels on the skin, and how it removes all my makeup. So downside to this, which is just advice really, don't leave this in your shower. Remember this is rice flour like cons...

I worked up to using it every night, and then moved up to 0.05% last fall. I have been using it every other night for the past few months, working up to every night which I'm doing currently. I cannot sing the praises of this product highly enough!.

Great product for gentle exfoliation for daily use. It seems like it wouldn’t cause dryness or irritation on sensitive skin. Product is unscented so there is no perfumes.

This one is more expensive, but the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant literally leaves my skin radiating. Nothing gives me more immediate brightening results like that one!.

Seems too small for the price but it works. It works on the black heads if the nose. However, you have to use it everyday or they will return :(

It can be slathered on without feeling heavy. Plays well under make up (except when used over the Hada Labo gel, sadly).
