This one is more expensive, but the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant literally leaves my skin radiating. Nothing gives me more immediate brightening results like that one!.

[routine help] I’m about to illicit a collective gasp from this sub - can anyone recommend a good physical exfoliant cleanser?

 It leaves my face feeling soft, and smooth. I never feel dry after my shower, and never feel like I just about tore my skin off because it was too abrasive. This has been my go-to for over a decade, and I won't turn back!

It's ok. The texture is quite nice for slightly colder seasons as it's a traditional cream, but probably a bit too heavy for summer.

 So downside to this, which is just advice really, don't leave this in your shower. Remember this is rice flour like consistency and left with the humidity of the shower it will condense together and than you have to knock it on a counter to break it up. I keep mine in my room.

I bought this because I have used Dermalogica in the past and liked their products. When I first opened the bottle, I wondered what that terrible stench was, then quickly realized it was the powder. I tried it a few times, and after applying it, the scent dissipated a bit, but I could not wait to get it off my face. It came to the point where I could not stand the scent to use the product, so it went in the trash

 It doesn't really adhere at all, and so it's hard to tell (if your face is even slightly damp) if you've got enough or got it in the right place.  But overall, that's no complaint. I'm very happy with the results. Have had no weird peeling, no new breakouts, nothing awful

  So, this stuff I use at night with the Hanhoo overnight illuminator, and I use the Vit C serum & Christine Moss moisturizer during the morning. I use the toner and face wash at both times.  The thing I like about this is 1) it works. If there's a blemish & I'm using this, that blemish is going to straight up disappear within 2 days

 A lot of people think that oh you because you're asking you shouldn't wear Spf. No, you have to wear Spf daily. The steps once again. So the first thing you want to do is wash your face

 Our skin you know always regenerate and thereby you need to at least once in a while. You know exfoliate because like you get the most out of your products. If you do exfoliate like all the products you apply would suddenly sink in. So yeah, now I'm done exfoliating my face

 Using your Spf is non-negotiable. You Must wear an Spf. It's like you don't even want to mess with it no matter how the weather is. Even if you're not gonna, you Must wear your Spf

 You can certainly see a big difference. Like there's this glue this brings to the face. I'm just going to tell you the directions now because I know I didn't mention it before I started. So it says use once or twice daily apply over the face and neck

How To Use Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

Timeless 10% vitamin C: I’ve used about 3 bottles of the 20% and decided to try this. I didn’t notice any difference, I tried this since it was marketed as more hydrating but it’s the same watery formula. I like it, but will likely opt for the 20% formula next time

Timeless 10% vitamin C (purpose: to fight future and past sun damage, ferulic acid brightens the skin) 

 I’ve tried other oil cleansers but come back to this as it even removes my waterproof mascara. Some people don’t like oils since they don’t emulsify, but personally I like the oil it leave on my skin especially when I don’t finish my routine ASAP.

Acure rose argon oil: I love this stuff. I bought it on a whim, since Acure was having a buy one get one 50% off, since this is traditionally $10 (which is already a decent price) I only had to pay $5. This is a nice oil, I apply a few drops in the morning for an extra boost, and load it up as my last step at night for a nice glow. Smells good too

Those look like ingrown hairs . Mine look similar when shaving my bikini line . What’s helped me is this 

If you’re pressed for time and can’t wait for these things to ship the tweezers are available at any drugstore & a derm on YouTube named Dr. Alexis Stephens mentions you can use a benzoyl peroxide wash like PanoXyl or the Differin one (available at any drugstore) . I think clearsil and Target’s Up and Up brand also make a benzoyl peroxide cream 10% but I find the paulas choice version to be waaaaay more gentle and thus more suitable for daily use  . And you can probably find a salicylic acid serum or lotion at the drugstore too

3) In cases of large or painful ingrown hairs use paulas choice benzoyl peroxide 5% with paulas choice 9% BHA treatment 2x for 3 days (this combo layered flattens out the ingrown hair paired with tweezing it )

[Skin Concern] How do I treat my razor bumps

20M with combo skin, been doing skincare for a while now and haven’t had much success, wanting to reduce some redness I have, reduce breakouts, smooth out some fine lines I’m getting and minimise pores/blackheads. I just want overall smooth and healthy looking skin. I know that’s a lot to ask for haha.

Am planning to try cosrx low ph cleanser as my dry areas get really tight with my current cleanser. Also cosrx snail essence, and inkey list retinol. Have been looking also at vitamin c but not sure if I’d need it or where it would fit in my routine. Sorry this is a lot of questions and may be a mess but any help would be appreciated

 I just for me if it's below 4 I find it more effective So there you go. Great gold standard For treating problems skin and it exfoliates both on the surface. Then we've got some other preservatives filler ingredients, and that's about it, so I mean If you're looking if you have super reactive skin That is nice to not have a ton of different ingredients to be worrying about Potentially irritating your skin or anything like that I mean it would have been maybe nice to throw on a couple soothing ingredients But you know you can always throw that in at your serum step So overall for this who this is probably targeted to I get the short ingredient list There's just less chance of a reaction or irritation. So um, okay In terms of amyl testing they are cruelty free Although they're under unilever now, I believe that's who bought them

 So I it's kind of You know what everything starts starts getting to kind of a gray zone when you're a cruelty free brand under a non-curlty free parent brand Everything gets to be a little Kind of in a gray zone, but anyway, technically I guess it's a little bit of a gray zone but anyway, technically I guess it's cruelty free so Okay, so for the performance of is very nice gentle yet effective exfoliant very very very works Well, it works very well for many different skin types great for dry sensitive acne prone skin If you have acne prone skin, there's no Ingredients of note for acne prone skin. So that makes it really wonderful It's a pretty simple product It seems to fit into most skincare routines pretty easily without any issues does a nice job clean up pores Preventing breakouts. Definitely one of the brands probably Dare I say one of their most popular products probably I would guess probably their retinols probably pretty high up there as well Um, but yeah, it's probably one of their more uh popular products Just because of it fits well for almost everybody dry skin oily skin sensitive skin acne prone skin Reactive skin. I mean so you don't find a lot of products that fit well for everyone And this is one of those few out there

 I have to say that um geeking gorgeous has their two percent salicylic acid serum Which is kind of similar to this and it's like around ten dollars. So keep that one in mind, but uh, This one if you use it patting it on your skin, it'll last a long time So it's not it sounds kind of expensive and it is still kind of expensive, especially When this came out for the brand was probably like fifteen dollars or something like that. So Um anyway in terms of the it factor nice exfoliant Uh very similar to the geeking gorgeous two percent salicylic perfectly clear serum very similar to the caprice Pore two in one toner, which I think is ten dollars and also pretty similar the face theory two percent bha toner Um, but overall this one's a really nice product that will work well for so many different skin types So it's nice to have something that is generally going to be pretty well receiving work well for most people. So Um with a ten being a perfect score
