 Alright, so this is inside the cockpit area. There's a couple of straps sorry, a couple of anchor points that will hold your baby in place so this one goes right across the chest and clips in. Unfortunately, it doesn't tighten and so unless this is tensed, it does have a tendency to slip down. In our experience, it hasn't really resulted in anything unsafe, but you know it's there for a reason, and this sort of tends to to slide off

 Very easy for Brenda to Bobo so you wanna have it. angling down. this catches the weight and despite his best efforts to knock himself over, he's still in pretty good shape. We survived

We are going on a outdoor vacation trip and I am looking for a carrier that I can put him on my shoulders or back and go through the mountains. When he was around 30 pounds, I had a saddle baby. It works great but eventually the foam ripped. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Need help finding backpack toddler carrier

 First couple times we used the pack our little one started crying, because her legs were falling asleep. She hasn't mastered language well enough yet to convey what doesn't feel right when she is in there, so it is a little trial and error.  We are getting better and better at it, and she averages about 35 mins at a time before she starts whining. She can go about 45 - 60 mins before the point of no return

 Don't think a screaming toddler 3 miles away from the car, in the middle of the woods falls under the "having a good time" category. Only problem I have with this bag is getting a perfect fit, although that has more to do with the passenger than the pack.  [music] [Music] [Music] [Music] So I want to do a full, like, comprehensive, long-term review on the Deuter Kid Comfort - we've had this for nearly a year and a half at this point and have put over a hundred miles of hiking with our kids inside of this pack during that time. So we've got a lot of experience with the pack. and that's mostly what I want to talk about today. and Deuter has done an absolutely fantastic job of creating a product that allows that to happen comfortably

 Aside from all of the features and aspects of the pack that make it great, this thing is really comfortable to carry upwards of almost 40 pounds. My two-year-old is around 30 pounds at this point, and with gear stashed here in the bottom pocket and the weight of the pack, it's close to 40 pounds or a little bit over 40 pounds. but the pack does a really good job of carrying that weight. And I'm going to show you that on the suspension system on the pack here first because this has been what has allowed that to happen

So daughter uses the very flex system their system, but it's essentially a really nice, robust, comfortable suspension system with nice big and wide hip belt pads that have a good thickness to them, but they're nice and sturdy and have a lot of like rigidity to them so that they carry that load and you've got a little bit of a hip articulation here on the back panel with the hip belts that makes it so the pack moves with your body, which is a great great feature of this. It wouldn't be as comfortable if this had sewn in hip belt, so as far as the back panel is concerned, you've got a lot of adjustability to change and adjust this for who's going to be carrying the pack

My mom will be taking care of my daughter a few days a week and she is looking for a structured hiking-style carrier. She has goats and takes them to a nearby conservation land to graze every day, so she wants to be able to carry her on her back. 

I told her I’d ask you guys and she wanted me to mention that she is 5 feet tall. My daughter will be about 7 months. 

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hiking carrier recommendations for a short grandma to wear?

  Reason I got my pack vs my husband's is: mine was 1lb lighter and since I'm a girl - I obviously needed a cuter color too ;)  Clips on backpack are also cheap (in my opinion), but they're the same type of clips on my husband's pack too. Just a cheap, light, plastic flimsy material. My husband thinks they're nice, but I guess time will only tell how durable they really are.

Sun Visor Doesn't Attach Straight to Pack during Storage

. The top of my hips are here and I'm putting it round here, big fast, x, buckle.. This is the bit I love to adjust the strut waist belt

 You'Ll know yourself, as a parent and up to a weight of 22 kilos, probably age, three or four., When you first wear the harness you're, not really going to notice the weight of your child, but as they get heavier and heavier you're really going to appreciate. Having a good quality harness here, so you can carry on walking for hours and not be crippled at the end of the day.

. This is where you're going to be taking most of the weight of your child, not from your shoulders. Otherwise it can hurt after a while.

I have a front carrier for errands etc, but it's pretty lightweight, and won't cut it on longer day trips.

Any suggestions? Hoepfully one that we can use next year as well, so maybe 6 months-18 months?

Parents: Best backpack-style carrier for dragging my infant daughter around?

 I said 26 pounds, this goes up to 40, but i need to get fit to be able to carry 40 pounds plus the pack on my back. So i think we need a little more practice and then you know, maybe we can do a little bit more than our happy little three miles that we did recently so yeah looking forward to using it some more and i yeah ask any questions in the comments And like and subscribe

To be honest, we didn't pack too much other than just some little snacks, and i had my husband um carry most of the rest, because you're already doing quite a lot of carrying once you get a little baby boy in here um.
