Found this on Facebook want to see what others think of this deal, possibly a flip with some parts swapped out, should I try and negotiate a lower price?

 I give it two stars because the "READY RIDE" is a complete joke. The shifters and gears will need a mechanic to spend time aligning it before you can ride it. Add $100? to the cost of this and few days to get a bike mechanic to have this tuned for you. The best diamondback can do is to send you videos of how to do it yourself and recommend that "all bikes should be tuned by a mechanic before riding"

 And then the components, yeah they're not the high end Shimano's but they're proven to be reliable from what I've read. It's got the Shimano Acerra or maybe Acerra, probably Acerra. And then looking at the crank up here you've got SR Suntour XCR6, SR Suntour PFF. I mean like I said, these are somewhat for mountain bikes, these are somewhat volunteer components, but they seem to be, at least from a cosmetic perspective, everything seems to be really well made and well both from a structural perspective and then a design perspective

 So I mean it's got everything and obviously your quick release is on your rear wheel and then also on your front wheel. So good package, I mean if you're looking for an entry level bike, like I said, riding on a trail, riding on a dirt trail, riding down the street wherever, this one's hard to beat. And there's a lot of advantages. The previous mountain bike that I owned was a full suspension and there's a lot of advantages to having a bike like this where you only have suspension fork on the front

If you're like me and you're wanting to go out and get a workout and be able to ride wherever you want to go, this is something that would be an excellent bicycle for a myriad of riders

 I've got a pump on my road bike and I'm going to move it over to this one. And this is a 22 inch extra large frame. So I'm 6 foot 2 inches tall and this is the size I needed. Looking back at the back here, just really nice, obviously got your disc brake back there

The 2014 Diamondback Overdrive Sport is an awesome mountain bike!  It's a "29er" mountain bike, meaning that it has 29-inch wheels!  Aside from the excellent looks, excellent build quality and excellent features, the price for this MTB bike is very reasonable!  Sure, the components aren't "high-end" but it performs well.  The small features like a quick-release seat post illustrate the amount of quality that went into designing this bicycle.  The front fork feels nice and can be locked for a firm ride when on the road.  The disc brakes perform very well.  I've rode the 2014 Diamondback Overdrive Sport several times now and love it!  If you're looking for an affordable and reliable exercise bike for trail and/or road, this bicycle is hard to beat! 2014 Diamondback Overdrive Sport 29er Mountain Bike Review

Great!!!!

 It's got these beautiful set screw traction points that really feel good, and it's just a really big surface area there. And of course they have reflectors and stuff for safety, which is really nice. 180 millimeter hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear. We've got this Tectra Aruga lever, and you can see there's actually a second wire coming off of these levers, which cuts off power to the motor

 So this bike has throttle mode and pedal assist. And when you're in pedal assist, if you pull the brakes, it's just going to kill it, and that's key. That's really actually very handy, because this is a mid-drive bike, and when you're shifting gears sometimes, you can tap those brakes, get the motor to cut off, and then you can shift more smoothly, and so you don't get mashing happening back here. So it does have a 10-speed cassette, SRAM X7, decent component group here, really nice looking

 So you can see it's, you know, it's right on. It kind of senses when I start pedaling and when I stop it kind of winds down. It definitely gets the job done but there is that kind of banging crunching noise when you're shifting so you just, you know, you want to kind of work with the system otherwise it's going to wear out your chain and your cassette a little bit faster. So that's about it

 Doesn't take too long at all and again this has a pretty good range because of that, the efficiency of that mid-drive. Especially if you use pedal assist only. There we go. Yeah, very satisfying

The Diamondback Overdrive EXC is a rugged 29er style trail bike with efficient mid-drive motor system, centrally located battery pack and quick release wheels (front and rear) for easy maintenance. Nice 10 speed cassette with SRAM X7 derailleur, solid RockShox air fork with lockout, burly 180 mm Tektro Auriga-E hydraulic disc brakes. Capable of reaching higher top speeds ~28 mph in the highest level of pedal assist when pedaling hard. Motor sensors are more basic and don't sense when you shift, the display panel isn't removable and only attaches with one arm vs. two, the throttle cuts out at 6 mph if you're not pedaling along.
