 So, Whammy 4, Whammy 5, in a loop or two in flip-flop mode so I can really quickly A-B them. The first thing that you'll notice is that the Whammy 5, A, has got more stuff going on, but it's also got this switch here, so you can switch between classic and chords. Now, the classic, if I go to Whammy 4 and we do the old octave, you can hear how the top end of all those notes is quite disjointed. If I go to the same thing on the Whammy 5 with chords on, it's very much together

With the Whammy 4, you need that big chunky AC supply, so this runs beautifully on DC supply and the last thing is really cool

For me it would have to be the rainbow machine. Whenever I play it i can find new stuff I like. It's very fun to experiment with. And favorite practical pedal would be my ehx holy grail max cus of the awsome reverse reverb mode.

 Let's play this freaking thing. What does the whammy pedal sound like? You? you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you.

 So you've heard this thing in so many different songs and most of the time when you first hear it, you're gonna be like wow, this is an amazing sound. The first time I've ever heard this thing was Joe Satriani's live in San Francisco specifically the raspberry sign and the first time I heard this thing I'm like wow this thing is amazing I need to get me some whammy action and that's what I did I Bought this thing and it was expensive. Back in the day it was like 200 bucks but I was I still using it to this day and it was definitely worth the investment if you like the sound of the whammy, definitely buy it. It's definitely worth the price

You’re better off with a multi effects unit like the Pod or similar. Matt uses analog and digital delays, chorus, octave, Digitech Whammy, phaser, fuzz, reverb, an EH 7900 Micro synthesizer, expression pedal to control effects, a volume pedal, EQ, boost and more. So as you can see buying all of this stuff would cost nearly $1500-2000.

I’m a big fan of muse and I’m looking for a cheap guitar (400-500 bucks) to play like Matt Bellamy cause the Manson guitar are too expensive to me :( and also cheap pedals. I like that this Whammy works with chords

 And this is a very nice sounding detune, so this is how it sounds clean. Let's bring in some detune. Going to max detune. That's on the deep setting which is the most intense detune

 OK again with some chords. You can get some really nice effects that way. OK the Whammy also includes a detune. And a detune is basically a pitch effect with a plus and a minus setting

 It has a great tracking, very fast, even for bass. OK let's play some chords now. OK that's sounding very nice. And to make it even more interesting I'm going to go to add a fourth and a fifth

 It has a new classic quartz switch for single line or chordal playing. It also has a MIDI input to remotely control the Whammy pedal. The right side of the pedal is the Whammy part that adds pitch shifting effects up or down to your original signal. It can go from dive bomb which is 3 octaves down to 2 octaves up and everything in between
