 And when you smell it on someone else, it's like holy shit. It sort of mixes with their pheromones and like their natural musk. Yes, it might be too boring for you connoisseurs out there. Okay, on your ivory bloody towers Right looking down at me wearing this generic mainstream Sauvage shit, right? But I don't care I don't care what smells Bell says on fragrantica either

 the Sauvage DNA is in there. kind of like it's buried the opening of this one. I find is like a cinnamon and vanilla scented candle. It's very dense, waxy and slightly sweet with a sort of herbal medicinal lavender vibe in the background

 it's bloody smells I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. Maybe if I spent more time with Elixir I'd fall in love with it more I have spent quite a lot of time with it I've owned it for about two three months. Okay, I know that's not a long time in the grand scheme of things when it comes to fragrances, but it doesn't have a nostalgic thing that I have with the Eau de Parfum version because with Sauvage Eau de Parfum I find when I wear it. it brings me back to like these memories at good times

 Well, if I compare my interpretation of elixir to the order Parfum version of Sauvage I find a more satisfactory and more effective. That's just me. No, you don't have to agree with me. Our noses are different and that's a good thing That is a good thing that I don't agree with you

The Truth about Dior Sauvage ELIXIR

The best thing is actually in my country one 2 ounces (60ml) bottle of Dior Sauvage Elixir costs around $170, but cause a friend of my father works in a fragrance shop, he was able to get it for $68, therefore my father saved more than $100+. I always knew, that fragrances can literally change the way you behave, it pushes one self-confidence to a whole 'nother level.

Update: still didn’t receive my refund after 2 weeks they got the package 2 weeks ago  So I had normal Dior and wanted to try this new one elixir people said it’s amazing I bought it from Amazon not sure if it’s fake or not probably original but it doesn’t smell good at all it stinks for me and I can’t even describe the smell I wouldn’t recommend it it’s really strong I refunded the product and I even paid shipping and tracking because it cost 135€ and I still didn’t get my refund it arrived Friday in their facility so I am not sure when will I get my refund I only used Parfum once to test it and that’s it refunded it with original box and nothing against seller he’s very nice I got my product even erlier then expected but the Parfum doesn’t smell I imagined

 Those are the only notes that are credited and it's interesting. Again, one thing I should mention the original fragrance had Ambroxan. Latter releases have not mentioned the Ambroxan are they leaving it out and also the latter versions do not have an Ambroxan heavy presence to me either. So maybe they are leaving it out

I tried Dior Sauvage Elixir the other day, it was nice, albeit somewhat strange with the curry spice + Sauvage combo. I even considered getting Bleu De Chanel Parfum at one point as, for the short time I had a sample of it, I got a ridiculous number of compliments.

Without going into specific products or brands (but feel free to name examples),  what are your top and bottom categories? 

Currently, my (F) top three are 

1. Spicy or savory gourmands 
2. Floral aldehydes
3. Fresh beachy

Honorable mention to classic women's orientals.

At the bottom of my list have to put

1. Women's sweet florals
2. Fresh aquatic
3. Soapy clean / laundry

Honorable mention to grape soda type patchoulis... How does this even happen.

What are your favorite (and least favorite) fragrance categories?

I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve tried only a few colognes over the past 20 years of my adult life. Not gonna lie, being a fan of Johnny Depp might have caused this purchase. I normally just get a popular collogne that’s relatively affordable

 That is pricey for a designer. Yeah, well. Now it's more than you have the other parfum, that's one hundred and twenty eight dollars for one hundred milliliters. And the eau de toilette is one hundred dollars for one hundred milliliters

 And then, like I mentioned before, there's different sizes of those other fragrances, so you can kind of figure out which one you want and how much you're willing to pay. On the whole, the eau de toilette is the best selling version of Dior Sauvage. Again, the most affordable and probably what most people are looking for when they're looking for a Dior Sauvage fragrance, which is just projection, longevity, complement, factor, versatility. The eau de parfum going to be a little bit richer, a little bit smoother, a little bit sweeter than the eau de toilette

 You can get one fluid ounce, 30 milliliters or even bigger, 200 milliliters. So you have all these different options and price points with this one. That's it. On the front of the bottle, you have the name of the house, the name of the fragrance, and it kind of dips down right there

 The masses love Dior Sauvage. Huge compliment puller. Great performance, ultra versatile. But then you have people that are big time fragrance aficionados who will say, oh, Dior Sauvage, poo poo, it is boring

 Positive reactions everywhere . I almost feel bad hyping it cause most people would overspray it and make it the next victim of his own success. But I don’t feel bad cause most people around me doesn’t wear a fragrance at all and I live in a small town. People dont seem to appreciate the oriental/sweet fragrances as much even tho they smell better. In other words we are simply just overthinking the whole thing and usually the best thing to do is just spray something basic, fresh and clean and that will do the job. Whats your experience with different type of fragrances and what gets you the most compliments?
