Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male 7.5/10. One of my first Fragrances, Powdery and sweet smell.

Love this scent, and so do other people! However, it only lasts about an hour and fades away very easily in mild temperatures. Sadly, there is no stronger and longer lasting version of the same scent (I checked many times) ; the only one that comes close is Ultramale , but some can argue it’s a completely different cologne from la male.

I sampled this in a department store before lockdown as the bottle instantly caught my eye and I was amazed by the smell. I have always been a fan of rose, but before I really started to get into fragrances, one of my favorite fragrances was Jean-Paul Gaultier Le Male which has a Vanilla Pear note.

I was expecting the tall bottle I got the last time I think its from another vendor i was a bit disappointed but the smell is great probly goes away after 3 or 4 hrs

And many land thinking they're the first to rave about PdM, Baccarat 540, Chanel, Dior, Encre Noir, Versace, Prada, etc. when these have been done to death. Many have been indoctrinated to buy by season/occasion/how sexy, mainly so YouTubers can make more videos about the same perfume. And most of the YouTube influencers tend to rave about the same perfume, often at the same time (free bottle from the brand)

I will say that I am now more acquainted with male fragrances and my bf is thriving and we went to sample fragrances for him and it was so much fun. I was very familiar w many fragrances and was able to explain notes and all. So keep it up guys !

 pros last long time girls like it cons you kinda smell like a girl  Overall i have no regrets, got a great price on amazon and will keep this in my rotation and use. its a good cologne to wear going out to bars or dates. Not something I would wear in professional setting, thats where my dolce&gabbana is the best for. DG is my professional cologne as i call it, work, meetings, etc

 So based on that I feel I received real product. Ok now on to the scent itself. It is a bit different than some of my other colognes, this is the most feminine one I would say that I own, has bit of womens scent to it. I personally do not like the scent that much however ladies do like it which is why i gave it 4 stars

Interesting smell

I have been buying Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male cologne for nearly 15 years, so I am very familiar with the scent. Anyone claiming this is not the authentic version, is either "nose blind," or remembering it wrong. I also would like to say, those who claim it wears off after an hour are mistaken. It should be noted that the wearer often goes numb to the scent after an hour, however others can still smell it easily

 Excellent scent! My only complaint is with whomever packaged it for shipping. Typically it comes in an Amazon box, sealed in it's original metal holding canister, and sandwiched between two inflated plastic bags; thus keeping it safe from being bounced around. This time however, it was not sandwhiched between the "airbags," but to one side of them. If not for a careful delivery person, the product could have very easily been damaged

 I also would like to say, those who claim it wears off after an hour are mistaken.
