 So that was just an example of the quicker hits. This pedal goes through those really well actually and as with most pedals you can adjust how tight you want this to feel and this particular pedal it's down here and that just determines how tight you want the spring and the chain action and it seems to be set up as is pretty well for me. I didn't really have to adjust anything but the great thing about this pedal is it can be very customized. You can adjust the footboard and pretty much every aspect of it if you wanted to

 So we're going to move this pedal around. Very solid bass, it's a very, very solid and sturdy pedal and it has the clamp right here where it goes to your bass drum. Another feature about this pedal is the adjustable clamp is on the outside of the pedal. Sometimes you have to go, you have to reach your hand below the footboard to actually tighten that and this one is on the outside

 So I'm going to show you the reaction time of this pedal with some of those quicker double hits. So that was just an example of how to play a double pedal with a single pedal. So about a month ago my crappy 100 dollar Gibraltar double pedal finally bit the dust, so I decided to get a new one of a bit higher quality, eventually deciding to go for the dw3000.

The pedal is objectively better than my old one. It responds well, it doesnt shake all the time during playing, and it's incredibly stable. But somehow, no matter how I adjust the settings, I can't seem to play properly with it. My double kicks sound as sloppy as they did when I first started playing double kick stuff 5-6 years ago. 

Did I just get used to the crappy old pedal, and this as a phase I have to get past? Am I doing something wrong in the setup? If anyone has had any experiences like this please let me know.
